Earlier last month was supposed to be a fun camping trip, later to be a crime scene. Dustin - a 35 year old man - set up camp on thursday, october 10 in the moose creek area, about 35 miles soouth of Bozeman. He was planning to spend the weekend there with his girlfriend, but then his girfriend found him lying dead at the campsite. At first, when his girlfriend saw this, she thaught it could have been a bear attack that caused this because of how bad the wounds were, but later autopsys say otherwise. The man was murdered. The killer removed all of the items from the campsite that he thaught could tie him to the murder. One thing that the killer miseed is a beer can that he had previously drank from. This man, through DNA testing of the saliva on the can, was later known to be recognized as a 41 year old man named Daren Abbey.
Daren admitted to commiting the crime, and has four other arrests for DUI, raising his offense to the felony level. The ivestigation is continuing for what his motives were, if any.

It's weird how the murder killed the guy for like no reason. Unless he made someone really mad and the guy took it a little to far and killed the guy for payback. But it's weird how it was so random. There has to be a reason why the murder killed hiim like I don't think that anyone would've killed someone for no reason.
Do you have any questions? Why was the murder so random, and why did he kill some random guy? What caused the murderer to kill him and was it a pre-planned murder? I would be scarred if I went to go somewhere and I came back and my loved one was no longer alive. I would be so confused.
The reason for this brutall murder is unkown, and Daren will have his next hearing the 15th of november. I can't even imagine what Dustin's girfriend is going through right now. Just a horrible thing to happen.
This was definentily a brutal murder. I believe that this to have been a pre planned murder. I think Daren Abbey should definentily face life in prison without parole at least. Was there any arguments or fued between the two?

Why the murderer would randomly decide to kill an innocent man? I wonder if the man was at the campsite to camp, and decided to kill him, or if he intended to kill someone.
I bealive that thisz is one crazy story and it is very tragic, more should know about this story. Its crazy how his girlfriend thought his murder was a bear attack when it was acctuallky a murder. Also, the man did nothing to the killer so he didnt deserve to be murdered.
I think thats it crazy how you could go up to a camping site and later found that your boyfriend had been brutily murdered it sounds weird to me that, that happend. My one question would be is why did that man decide to just kill him if he knew that his girlfrend was with him why not kill both?
The reason to your question is that his girlfriend found the body AFTER he was murdered, and was not actually at the campsite when the murder happened.
