The story of Atlantic was told by Plato around 360 B.C. Plato explained that they created a utopian civilization of half god and half human people. There were many suspicions about where Atlantis was located. Charles Orser stated, "Pick a spot on the map, and someone has said that Atlantis was there. Every place you can imagine''. Some scientists think that Santorini near Greece was "Atlantis" and that the volcanic eruption is what made it disappear, but Ballard doesn't think Santorini was Atlantis because the ending doesn't match up with was Plato said happened to Atlantis .
Orser said, "the legend of Atlantis is a story about a moral, spiritual people who lived in a highly advanced, utopian civilization, but they became greedy, petty, and "morally bankrupt," and the gods "became angry because the people had lost their way and turned to immoral pursuit". I think that Atlantis could've been a city and we just don't exactly know how it ended or what all happened but anything is possible.

I think that the location lost city of Atlantis is unknown and will stay that way for a long time. I think that a city called Atlantis was real but was it all it was said to be I do not know. I think that some natural disaster happened or someone or something destroyed it and it will be very hard to find it.
I think that the city was real and it is possible that it could have just dissapeared. Think about all the natural disasters happen now and how much stuff gets destroyed now. I think the volcano had something to do with it because a volcanp could definetly do some damage.
I don't think that it was real, Plato was known as a philosepher and their entire thing is to make people think about their lives. As you said, Atlantis' story ended in greed and destruction which obviously is meant to be a lesson and not a non-fiction story. the main giveaway was when he mentioned half god creatures living among humans.

I think that it's nice to believe that such a place can be real because it make people hope, and believe that such places can be true. I have o clue were Atlantis could, but I thonk that it can be real because it;s origin has to have come from some place even if its not a city that is now under water. It could be that it was just a normal city with stange inventions.

I honestly have know clue where Atlantic would be or where it was. I do think there is a possibility that Atlanis is real because other than the city cant be found there is no prof that the city isn't real either. I have no clue what would have happend to the city.
I have no idea where it is because if I did everyone would know about it and it would have been discoverd. I think it could be real but there is no real evidence that it is, but it was discovered a long time ago and is still talked about today so it could be real.
I feel like the saying pick a place on the map and it was there. I do think it was everywhere. I think it was real but not like how people say it is. I agree with the more highly advanced part but not the half humans half gods. I just think it was a bunch of maybe near perfect humans and at that time they werent plagued by any wars or malice. I think they just went away from "immoral pursuit" like you said.
I don't know exactly where Atlantis would be because if we knew it would be discovered but it must be in the Atlantic somewhere. I think it could be real because it was a very long time ago. I think it would have been flooded out and covered by water or a earthquake would have destroyed it.
