Disney has released the first teaser trailer of the live action version of one of the most famous Disney movies of all time, The Lion King. The cast includes the presence of Beyoncé as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, Seth Roger as Pumbaa, James Earl Jones reprising the role as Mufasa, and more. In 24 hours the trailer had already reached over 10 million views and caused a lot of different opinions from the internauts: “New Lion King trailer is amazing. I’m billing @Disney for the therapy I’m going to need later”; “I have such mixed feelings about The Lion King remake. My favorite film in the entire world and I’m so concerned the new version is absolutely awful.” Despite all that, fans' reactions to the new trailer has been largely positive, especially from young Americans who were watching it during the football game.
Q1: Do you think this new version will overcome the original one? Why?
I’m not sure yet if it’s going to overcome the original one, but I’m pretty sure that is going to be very good because is going to tell the same story, but now with a live action version.

I think my favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast because I simply love the songs and the romantic storyline of it.

I do not think that this new version will overcome the original. The original was one of a kind, and for almost everyone in having fond memories of it. My favorite Disney movie is hands down THe Emperor's New Grove, I have very fond memories of the movie.

You can never beat an original! It will be the original for the little kids but for the people who say the first on it just wont be the same... I think mine is frozen, ya i know im basic but the music in it is so good and it shows that family is everything even when it gets tough!
Yes, for the kids it might be really good because it is their first time watching it, but for the older ones it may not be. I love Frozen; the songs are amazing, and it is such a good story.
I think that it might overcome the original one just because it is newer and in theaters. Hopefully the original film is not completely buried by the remake because it was a good movie for kids. My favorite disney movie is probably Mulan because I like the characters, plot, and music.

I have never seen the full movie. I Have only seen parts of the Lion King. Usually the orginal if better, but you never knwo with the Lion King. To be honest I don't really watch Disney Movies very often, but i use to watch Lilo and stitch all the time.
Yes, usually the original one is better, but you never know right? I didn't watch Lilo and Stitch very often when I was a child, but I still like it.
