The Iraq war in 2003 lasted 10 years. This fight was 2 years after 9/11, and Al Kieda was apart of the 9/11 attack. The Al Kieda had something to do with the Iraq invasion just as well ad the 9/11 attack. The invasion started March 19th, 2003. We as the U.S.A and the United Kingdom starts this invation towards Iraq. Our military sent troops over to Iraq in 2003 to make sure Iraq wasn't gonna try anyhting behind our backs. My mom was stationed in Iraq helping hurt shoulders and with their dental hygene while she was there. She was stationed there for "about a year and half" my mom said. Fortonately my mom never fought in the invation. The U.S. and United kigdom had troops there for along time untill we knew nothing bad was gonna happen. The Tomohwak cruise was the first to misstle their bombs. No weapons of mass were found in Iraq. Which I think means Iraq could be hidding what weapons had or held people captive. The U.S. wanted to help the hurt in Iraq and including children that were there as well. My mom said she wish she never had to do this, but she helped lots of hurt children in the invasion. These kids were mostly getting hurt from these bombs. What would you have done if you were there. How would you have taken this whole invation.

Samantha,
First of all, I like the topic and it's awesome that you talked to your mom about her service here. As far as your summary is concerned, it is a bit all over the place. You jump around a lot. Be sure to stay focused on a specific topic and then create a new paragraph when discussing something new. I think this would have worked better if it was just focused on your mom's service. I do think you explaining why this war happened is important but you need to flesh out the story more as students don't know anything about it. Also, be sure to use spell/grammar check to help eliminate errors.
You did add questions but they are hard to see. Separate them from your summary so they can be seen. Your questions would be hard to answer for people that know nothing about this war.
