The Great Pyramids of Giza

Just outside Cairo, in Giza, the most famous of Egyts’s pyramids rise from the desert. Built more than 4,500 years ago, the Pyramids at Giza are monumental tombs where ancient queens and pharaohs were buried.

But how, exactly, did the Egyptians build these things? The Great Pyramid is made of millions of hue stones weighing at least two tons each. Even with today’s cranes and other construction equipment, building a pyramid as big as that of Pharaoh Khufu would be a very hard challenge. Alien theorists often point to the fact that these three pyramids are in way better shape than others built centuries later. Scientists aren’t quite sure how the ancient Egyptians build the pyramids and especially how they did it so quickly. Many people find it to be nearly impossible that people because of the size of the block and them weighting nearly 2 tons.

Do you buy into the theory of the Pyrmids being placed by aleins?

  • Good story choice Dylan but your summary is a bit brief and you only replied once.

  • I don't think that the pyramids were created by aliens. The egyptians laid their dead to rest in these pyramids, so what would aliens have to do with this. It is incredible that the egyptians managed to make these, and I don't think that we should just say that aliens made them.

  • I don't think it is very likely the pyramids were placed by aliens, but I find it very interesting that they were able to build such a large structure that it still standing today. Especially since to has all of it's secret tunnels and passage ways that I've heard about. It's not impossible that aliens placed it but it's very unlikely.

  • They could have been placed by aliens I think, but that is also crazy if they were. I think they could have been placed by aliens because we didn't have the machinery back then and it would have been really hard to cary all of them bricks and stack them like they are. If they weren't placed by aliens, thats a lot to do for people.

  • I highly doubt they were placed by aliens. The fact that there's no evidence the Egyptions put them up doesn't stand as evidence that aliens put them up. I also don't think that if they just appeared, out of nowhere, that people would just accept them as a part of life and make them tombs. I've heard a theory that they made some kind of crane like structure that lifted the rocks/bricks. It also said that the bricks could've been placed on sturdy rafts and floated to where they needed to be placed. When I read it in full detail it made sense to me.

  • I dont think that they were put here by aliens because it would make no sense for them to do that, although I dont think that they were built by hand only they had to have some sort of technology like a special cart or large animals to build such giant creations from rock

    • I agree with you I think that there is no chance that aliens put the pyramids. There isn't any evidence to suggest that they did place them there. Also they would have no reason to place them there in the first place.

  • I personally do not believe that aliens placed the pyramids. If hypothetically there were aliens, what would the point of placing these pyramids be? We know that there are tombs for egyptians inside of these pyramids, which is enough of a reason for me to think they are man-made. If pyramids appeared in the middle of nowhere why would entire civilizations not only accept it, but turn them into graves for important people?
