Have you ever dreamed of see or driving/piloting are flying car? The flying car is finally operational and can be reserved if you have the $270,000 to spend on it. It runs on regular fuel like a normal car would also! How easy! The "Terrafugia Transition" is like a small car with wings that fold in. Is this flying car safe? Dedric (the one who designed the flying care) says that it is. The car can travel at a speed of 150 miles per hour! With a rage of 145 miles per hour in the air. He says "Its kind of a symbol of what we can accomplish and these things are totally technically achievable." So would you want a flying car? Would you spend that much money to just buy one or would you buy something else that would be maybe more useful?

Good topic and well done!
I definetly want a flying car, but I would never spend that much money on something like that. There's so many more useful things I could buy with that much money. I'm glad we're improving our technology, but they need to price things more reasonably.
And possibly make it somehow more safe for people
I think this is an amazing invention and another step forward for everyone. It is also potentially extremely dangerous, such as if it malfunctioned or was tampered with or they crashed. Everyone should definitely go through a lot of training before they try to fly this car.
Yes, especially with all the controls in the car. If they dropped something and the leaned over to pick it up they might hit a button or flip a switch without knowing it and they might cause an accident or something that would hurt them and people around them
I'm not very interested in the whole flying car thing... and the picture of it looks pretty much like a plane... I don't see these things being very common ever in the near future... not until they can find a way to lower the price to something much more affordable and at the point it is now, its more plane than car, it would have to come a lot farther before these become popular... which i don't see happening ever in the near future.
I think this is a neat idea, but if too many of these go going it would be an issue setting new rules and regulations and keeping everyone safe in the air as well as on the ground.
And things like engines stalling/stopping in air would be a definite issue for peoples life's and the safety for them
That is very strange but very fascinating at the same time! I don't think I would never buy a flying car. For one reason, I don't have that kind of money. And I am deeply afraid of heights. I remember a couple years ago saying how that would be cool if cars would fly and it is finally accomplished! It's crazy how advanced technology has become!
I think this is really cool and it's amazing how far technology has come! I don't know for sure if these are available for sale to the general public, but if they are I think that they should take them off the market until further testing so they can make sure they are as safe as possible, because accidents are bound to happen with something like this.
