In 1889, Captain James C. Kerr and his 100 passengers aboard a steamboat claimed to seeing a 30- to 40 foot long creature in Flathead lake, while on the U.S Grant. Ever since then people have seen multiple sightings of the Flathead Lake Monster. Many people say it resembles the Loch Ness monster with it's long body, and steel black eyes. People are still slightly scared to swim in the lake, due to the fear of the Flathead Monster.
In July of 2018 109 people reported seeing a 30-40 foot long creature swimming in Flathead Lake, located in Montana. A couple of people said somethings for Montana NBC such as, "I remember saying, 'Look, look! That's it! We're seeing it!" Someone said, another also said. "I knew immediately because the descriptions are all the same. It was like 25 feet from what we could see and humps." Other people are saying it has many features that resemble the Loch Ness monster with "steel black eyes" and fins.
NBC reported a few other people, and coupleJim Manley, and Julia Maney also reported sighting the creature. Near Big Arm in 2005, the couples boat battery died, and were waiting for there ride. The couple was swimming along side of the boat, and relaxing before hearing a strange sound. Julia said, "Thriteen years later, it's still like I can see it. It hasn't changed my belief." Julia explained. Jim also said. "We heard the loud splashing. That's the part nobody can explain to me. If it was just an optical illusion, how do you explain the loud splashing. Afterwards it was a little eerie that the thing was swimming underneath us." Jim added.

I think they could've seen it, but I really think it was just there head playing with them. I really don't think they saw it, and was just an illusion maybe or the sun hitting the water in a weird angle.

I personally think it could be really, but there really isn't enough proof for me to belive it. With more proof, and clearer pictures, I would probably be more inclined to believe this. However, there's just not enough proof for me to believe this.

I think people are just saying things, alot of people like to say random things that sound realistic to make them believe them and then people spread that to others with the same information and then it just continues. Most people dont realize its fake until that 1 educated friend gives explanation on why it isnt real.
I think that this is could be potentially the lochness monster, Although i have never believed much things i have believed that the lochness monster was real since i was a kid. Maybe with more evidence and pictures i could believe it more or i could disagree more.
I don't think it's real, i think it just looks like it would be but it's not. It's probably just something or a different animal sticking out of the water. It may be real but I don't think it is. People might think that it is, but so don't think it is.
I think people are saying tha they saw it because they have heard about it before. Then when they are on the lake they might think they saw something or heard something, so it could just be there head playing with them. I don't know if it is or not, there is a chance it could be but I don't think it is.
I think that it may be a real animal but I am not sure it is the lock mess monster. we find new animals underwater all the time. it is very hard to look for new animals underwater compared to looking on land. when so many people have the same description it usually means one of two things they were told what to say which is not likely or they actually saw something.
I think it is really an animal but I don't think this is the lock ness monster. It is probably a big type of fish that swims a certain way that makes it look even longer. And I dont think that there is such a thing as a monster. People also believe crazy stories and that makes them belive that they saw it easier.
I don't believe that the flathead lake monster is real. We could see many things and each of us would interpret them very differentely. I believe that people are making their own assumptions about what they saw, but I highly doubt that monsters exist.
Personally I don't think that it is real. But seeing it is different than reading about it it could be a sunken tree or something off the bottom of the lake that surfaces. I think many overact when they see a random thing floating in the water. Could it be the locness monster maybe maybe not these are all things that are hard to be for sure on until proven fact that they are real.
I'm not entirely sure whether they are telling the truth or not because I've never heard of a story like this in the United States before. And I'm not sure whether this monster is real because there were fake pictures of the Loch Ness monster but I'm just not sure. I don't think that the Loch Ness monster could be the flathead monster because the Loch Ness monster is in Scotland and this is in the states.
I personally think that anything could be real and anything could be fake but I don't know whether to say they saw the monster or not. I don't think that the monster is real because there are a lot of fake stories out in the world. To be honest, I think it could be the lock ness monster because of the way the story sounded.
