Apparently, the Great Barrier Reef is disappearing; all of the reasons are caused in part by humans. According to a study that was taken, it states that over the last 27 years the reef has decreased by about 50%. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s best natural attractions because of all of the natural life that lives there and the warm climate. The three highest things contributing to the disappearance of the reef are tropical cyclones, crown-of-thorns starfish (they eat the corral), and rising water temperatures; scientists have decided that the best course of action is to control the starfish population.
I think we could also try to reduce the runoff in to the waters. What are your opinions on this subject?

That's sounds like a great idea! That's why they drained Prarie Rose to get rid of the fish population's predators. Is this problem also linked to polution because we also should illiminate the risk of more polution in the air and oil spills into the ocean.
This is sad the reef is being destroyed, I hope scientist can fix the problem, since alot of tropical animals live there.
