The current problem with deforestation
Our planet is losing its forests at an alarming rate. Every year rainforests worldwide lose 78 million acres of trees due to deforestation and wildfires. this means by 2030 there will only be 10 percent of forests left on Earth. which means the planet's atmosphere will start falling apart due to too many greenhouse gases trapped inside.
If we don't stop cutting down trees there will be no way to reverse climate change and the air will become so toxic we won't be able to breathe. Other problems we are going to face will be soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, and a large increase in greenhouse gases emotion. These problems could cause a lot of deaths to animals and humans worldwide because of starvation and an increase in air pollution.
If we could stop deforestation we would save millions of plants and animal lives. the levels of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere will go down exponentially causing the air in the atmosphere to freshen up. stopping deforestation would help with the amount of floods we get because forests help regulate annual rainfall and stop the water from flowing into cities.
In my opinion, we should stop deforestation so the levels of greenhouse gases can go down and the air can become cleaner and safer to breathe. Our Forests make our planet look a lot better and not look like a concrete jungle. they also provide clean drinking water and give wildlife a place to live and thrive.
what is deforestation and why is it bad?
what happens if we stop deforestation?
