Since Biden took office, there has been a surge of illegal immigrants that want to be let into America. However, this is not the case for most. Within the last couple of weeks, immigrants have begun to pile in at the border. Border Patrol has no choice but to send the immigrants back, or put them in a cell for further holding. Keep in mind, that there are criminals, including sex traffickers, and terrorists involved in this group. The Biden Administration held a press conference on Thursday to discuss issues such as this. Biden dodged nearly every question that was asked about the crisis.
During Biden’s campaign, Biden said that he would stop separating children from their parents at the border and stop putting families in “cages”. I think that this is one of the main reasons people voted for him. However, with the surge of immigrants coming to the border, they are being put in cages and being separated from their families. The Biden Administration has also refused to let the media into the facilities. In my opinion, I don’t think that the Biden Administration wants the media involved because they will receive massive backlash. Both president Biden and VP Kamala Harris have said that they do not plan to travel to the border any time soon. Personally, if I were president, I would want to go to the border and tackle the crisis head on. One of the only things that the Biden Administration has done to comment on the crisis is blame the Trump Administration. Biden continuously says that the rates of immigrants at the border were higher when Trump was in office. Multiple sources state that Trump largely fixed the issue at the border.

In my opinion, I think that the Biden Administration needs to stop worrying about the backlash and make a statement. Biden needs to come out and tell the immigrants to stop fleeing to the border until he has a plan set to let them come in.

I do not think that the Border Crisis should be blamed on Trump . I think this because Trump and his team were working to stop illegal immigration. The Biden Administration has done nothing to help and they continue to refuse a press conference. I don’t think that the Biden Administration was ready for such a surge of immigrants. They should have made a plan and tried to do it safely.

I think the border patrol should just stand right at the border 24/7 because then nobody can sneak in. Also they should make it more difficult for the immigrants to get on the other side of the border. I think the only part that should be blamed on Trump is the people that got into America when he was in office. He can’t stop the people that are coming over now, that is President Biden's job to stop them.
I agree with you. Trump is not to blame for the immigrants coming to the border now. I do agree that there should be border patrol at the border 24/7. However, the immigrants will still be able to find places to cross the border when it's dark outside.
I think that the border crisis wouldnt have became so bad if Biden would have not let them come in the first place. Then this would not have started in my opinion and it would not be the mess that it is now and there wouldn't be any issues.
I think that this issue would not be as severe if Biden hadn't told immigrants that they could come to begin with. Biden needs to make himself clear to immigrants that they shouldn't be coming illegally. Also, there have been children sent across the border by their parents all by themselves. These kids need to find their families, and the government should make it so that they can never come to America legally and charge their parents with child abuse. Doing these things sounds harsh, but it would stop many immigrants from coming illegally. The border crisis shouldn't be blamed on Trump, many of the illegal immigrants have been recorded saying that they only came becasue they thought Biden would just let them through.
I agree with you. I don't think it's right for parents to be sending their children to the border alone. The children are too young to be able ti understand what they should do by themselves. Also, even if the child is let into America they will most likely enter the foster program which can be just as bad as their home country.
I think Biden should stop letting them in till he makes a plan and space for all of them in our country. I do not think this is trumps fault. I think the surge and no space is Bidens fault because he isn't stopping them and they just keeping coming. I have a feeling Biden is going to make tax dollars go toward building more facilitys for these immigrants.
I agree with you. Biden needs to give the American people a solution to the problem. In my opinion, Biden should have left Trump's solution in effect until he had a solution to the issue.
I think the biden administration should go out to give a statement, and seek a solution as soon as possible. Illegal immigration is currently a very big problem, but I am sure that there are methods to fix it, we all know that Trump was not very in favor of solving things with immigrants for good, and that is why now there is this problem.
I think we need more officers and people to stop kids and adults from coming into our country and making it more hard to put them somewhere. No, it should be blamed on Biden because when Trump had the wall up it stopped a lot of immigrants form sneaking in and now it makes it easier for immigrants to sneak in.
