The Bermuda Triangle

In the last 5 centuries airplanes and ships have mysteriously gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle. If you're wondering what the Bermuda Triangle is, well it’s a triangular spot in the North Atlantic ocean. Also, it’s called the “Devil’s triangle”. The first or earliest disappearance was in the 1950’s by the Miami Herald. “However, the “Bermuda Triangle” itself was coined by Vincent Gaddis in a 1964 article.” Scientists and Amutures since then have tried multiple theories to figure out what was going on in that area. They thought it was multiple things like sea monsters, UFO’s and all the way to unidentified objects. But, at that time no one had seemed to figure out what was causing the mysterious disappearances. The latest thing that scientists have found was in August of 2018 and a channel 5 documentary about the Bermuda Triangle and they suggested that the disappearances could be from tall rogues. Which rogues are waves engulf ships and planes attempting to navigate the area. Still to this day nothing since 2018 has been rediscovered about the Bermuda Triangle.

What do you think is causing these disappearances of the planes and ships?

I think that it could be so windy that the waves get so high and drown these ships. The planes I think fly so low that they get caught in these waves and end up in the water and drown, too.

Why do you think that scientist still can't really figure out what's casuing these dissaperances?

I think that they aren't really looking into more of the high wave lenths the Atlantic ocean gets in that area.

    • Yes I would totally agree with you on what you said because If scientist don't actully put the effort into looking for why those planes and ships are missing, then how whould they know what's goiing in that mistery. However, they are still looking and investigating, but still aren't maybe looking in the right theories.

  • Agreed, weather is most likely why they are dissapearing. I'm guessing that scientists haven't investegated enough to determine if the weeather is the problem. I think the scientists aren't looking into it as much as they should. They most likely haven't looked into the wavelengths or weather patterns to determine if its the real reason.

    • Yes I would agree with you on the weather part because I think it's the weather too. I think that the waves are so high causing those ships to drown and be taken under sea levels. The planes could be possibly flying so low that they are just getting caught in the waves because of how high those waves are.

  • I agree with you that weather is most likley the cause of these disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. I am assuming that scientists have not done enough investigating on the weather patterns in this part of the North Atlantic. As for why the scientists have not yet figured out what the true cause is for these mysterious events, I think that they probably don't want to travel to the Bermuda Triangle themeselves because it is obviously an area of danger and uncertainty.

    • The waether in that are gets so bad and that could be the biggest reasons as to why things like planes and ships are dissapering. So I walud aggree with you on your statement. Scientist I think want to investigate more into The Bermuda Triangle, but just haven't maybe quite figured it out yet.

  • I agree that It is probably the weather that is causing all these disappearances. Maybe something in the area affects the instruments on the plane or ship and makes them not work so they get stranded and just don't go anywhere so they die. I don't blame scientists for not trying to figure out because they will just add to the number of people not making it out.

  • I think the weather is the main cause for dissapereances of ships, boats, planes, ect. in the Bermuda Triangle. The weather can be very violent and cause terrible accedents and I can see howaircrafts and ships can be effected by that. It is kinda crazy though that this is the only place that we have heard of that is this common for dissapereances.

    • I would agree with you about the weather because I think it's a big part on why those planes and ships are dissapering. But, I am still wondering why caouldn't the scientist figure out a solution to stop the dissaperances. Maybe there is no way they can fix the problem as to why those ships and planes are missing.

    • I would agree with you on the weather part because the waves could have a huge part in taking down so many ships and plnes to the bottom of the sea floor. The scientist are probally not wanting to go in that area because of the dangerous area and they probally don't want to die so, yes I would agree with you about the Scientist.

  • In my opinion, it seems very mysterious and crazy to think that waves would be able to take planes down, so I feel as if there has to be another reason and something else going on. Maybe it's the weather pattern or just the area it's in. I also think it's hard for scientist to find any information.
