Kerry Egan is a hospice chaplain from Massachusetts. As a student her professor asked her what people talked to her about while they were dying. She told him that they talked about their family. Through her studies through out the years the main thing people talk about is their families.

What do you think?

Well that is what i think that I would think of before i die because well it's your family you have spent a large portion of your life with them. People love their family and wonder how they are going to deal with the loss of someone that close to you.
I don't think that's too far off. I mean that's what you'd be thinking about, the people you love and are leaving behind. I like to think that's what I'll be thinking about too; all the people I love. Sounds like a pretty nice thing to end with if you ask me.
i think this sounds about right. i know when my great grandpa was on the verge of dying all he kept talking about was his family and how we were his everything. thats the only thing that mattered to him. earlier in his life he known for talking about his farming, etc, but the most important thing to him was family.
I think that sounds fair enough. I mean, your gonna talk about the people that meant the world to you and did anything for you. That usually contains to be your family and friends. Sometimes you just consider your friends family as well. So I believe that statistic is perfect.
I think one reason they tend to talk of their families is because nothing else matters at that point. Nothing besides family in your life is going to continue past your death. They aren't going to be talking about their finances or their dream homes or crap like that because it won't matter. Your finances no longer exist when you're dead, and you won't get your dream home after death. Your family (younger family atleast) still actually functions after your passing.
