The last time these two girls were seen was in 1971 when they were on there way to a party, they were never seen again. Until just a couple of days ago a car was found with remains in them. The authorities are pretty sure this is the two teenage girls that went missing. They were 17 years old when they went missing, that's such a young age to die at. The remains were taken from the car into custody.
I think that this is pretty amazing to find the car from four decades ago, and the remains of the two of them still in there is also really interesting. I wish more finds like this would happen such as Amelia Earhart's plane. I think the most interesting thing about this is it was right near Sioux City, Iowa.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it's the girls missing car?

It is strange, that this long after they find the car. It is also amazing that they found it! I find this interesting.
That would be a relief for the parents, if they are still alive. That is a LONG time ago!!
That's neat how they found the car with the girls body in it, it would be pretty creepy finding the car with dead bodies in it though. I'm surprised that no one found the car earlier.
I know, not being able to find a car for that long is just absolutely crazy in my opinion. For that long of period of time they should have been able to find it much sooner.
This is so sad that they have been missing since 1971 hopefully these are there bodies so that they can close that case. Also that their families have closure and hopefully they can figure out from this who killed them and how long they have been dead. I think it is absolutely terrible that they haven't been found for this long i would hate to be in their family because it would be terrible.
There isn't any proof that somebody killed them. They could of wrecked the car in a lake or river and drowned. One of the girls mom died this last week, just a couple of days before the car was found, that is so sad to hear. I bet the mom wanted to know so bad where the car was and what happened.
Yeah I think that this is these girls car. Its very weird to think how back then how these cases happened. I'm glad to know that now a days we have a good enough police system to not let things like this happen.
Nobody knows what happened to the girls. They could of just simply wrecked into a lake and drowned or something else very interesting happened. They took the remains so hopefully they can find out if it's the right girls or not.
I think this is really weird, and I can't believe not only that they've found it, but also that they've found it four decades later! I think the whole case is really strange and hope that after some investigating they can find out what happened to these girls.
