Well done Tyann! Be sure to inlcude personal thoughts within your summary.
I would say that the main way to stop younger people from vaping is just to educate them about the health issues and complication that could be involved. I think the ban of sale of flavored vapes would be a good start because most of the younger people just like the taste or feeling (whatever it is classified as).
Yes, educating young people about the health issues that vaping can cause is a great way to show younger people that vaping isn't good. Banning flavors would be a good start, but I don't think that it would be enough cause they would just be vaping the nicotine.
I think if vaping was portrayed in the same way as cigarettes, there would be a lot less young people doing it. I think there could be a limit on the number of pods people can buy at one time, so they cannot turn around and sell a large amount of them to minors.
Be a little more strict on some things that shouldn't be young people's possesions. They should make more age restriction rules on these type of things and be more strict.
1.) Less advertisments would be more beneficial because the younger people wouldn't know about it and if they did they wouldn't be that interested in it because it isn't a 'big' product.
2.) Show and list all short and long term affects on the minds of both younger adults and older adults and show how the quality of life is affected with someone who doesn't vape vs. someone who does vape.
Yes, less advertisments or even anti-vaping advertisments would be a good way to potentially stop younger people from vaping. Advertising about the harlful effects of vaping is a good way to show younger people that its not good for them to be doing it.
I think they are doing the most they can right now to prevent it. Raising the prices could make it harder for them to buy it, but I think no matter what you do kids will find a way to get it. Parents could check and ask their kids if they vape and just try to make sure they don’t, and their friends don’t.
Yeah, I believe that the public is doing a lot to prevent it, but it just isn't enough. Rasing the prices would make it just a little bit harder for younger people to get a hold of vapes, but that doesn't mean that thy won't get them, like you stated. And raising the age might help too, but they can still get it from older people.
Is to make the age limit of kids buying vapes up to 18 or 19 years old. you can bring the prices up more and maybe less kids will buy the vapes. Not selling vapes anymore and making commercials about how vapes are bad. Parents could also not allow their kids to but a vape.
