A senior Hakam Daley has not had an easy life, he has been through several foster homes throughout his life. He has a disease called cerebral palsy. A girl named Kayla Donohue, a friend of Dale's, had the senior class vote for Daley to be the homecoming king. Daley said he has never been happier than the time he was crowned homecoming king. I think this is a great thing to do, children with disabilities should be able to have the same opportunities as kids who aren't disabled. I think this brings that student's confidence level up a bunch! Hopefully this starts to happen more often! What are your thoughts on this?

that's really cool honesty. I mean coming together as a high school and voting for him as homecoming king. It was truly just kindness
This definitely restores some of my faith in humanity. It is really heart-warming to know that the students did something like that, I'm sure it made the kid feel absolutely amazing about himself! :)
I think that it was a very nice thing to do for the kid!
That is so sweet. For everyone to come together and vote for him really shows that schools character. Something like this just makes peoples lives so much better, especially everything that boy has gone through. It shows that it just takes someone stepping up to make a difference.
That's really cool that they voted for him and he won and i hope this happens more often cause it is a really cool thing to do for him considering he has cerebral palsy and has been to a lot of foster homes.
I think that this is amazing. I mean, he has never been happier. That right there would make me feel so great. Congrates to him! It makes me think maybe the world isn't so bad!
This is so nice to crown a kid with disabilities. I think this shows, that anyone can do anything wheather you have a disability or not. I bet it made his day. I think it would be cool to see anyone with a disibility, get crowned Homecoming King or Queen.
