A 44 year old teacher in Beziers, France set herself on fire in front of a school yard and died on Friday. Police say that the math teacher brought the can of gasoline to school on Thursday, and on Friday she doused herself in gasoline, and then set herself on fire because, she had a lot of problems with a few students. The students said that she is to strict. I think that is a stupid way to kill yourself just because students say your teaching is to strict. Any opinons?

If she didn't like the way the students were talking about her, why didn't she just quit her job?? or just let off from the strictness of her teaching a little bit? She didn't have to kill her self!! that was just taking it waaay too personal!!
I think that is one of the dumbest teachers ever! There are alot of strict teachers out there that students call strict and they dont set there self on fire in front of there class! Woopty doo your strict! it teaches the students something about life! not saying that our teachers should be strict you guys do just fine:)
woow ... thats really crazy .. but i think is really hard you just kill yourself with fire just because of some students... maybe she didnt like her life ..
I think that teacher must have been a little crazy. I wouldnt never imagine doing that to myself due to what some kids think about me! She must not have been very stable to begin with. If i was one of those kids i would be mortified that i cause my teacher to do that. Their parents better be doing something different And the way she did it is just scary and probably painful.
This is just ridiculous! If you had a problem with some students why wouldnt you just go to the prinicipal or just step down from teaching? I wouldn't kill myself because of the students behaviors. I bet the students feel bad for saying mean things about her. And why would you kill yourself infront of the school? If you do it at all don't do it where kids would see it, thats just not good.
This teacher must have had serious promblems, because students saying your strict isn't that big of a deal. Plus, why would you set yourself on fire? That would be one of the most fainful ways to die.
Well i am thinking she wasn't completely all there in the head if you kill yourself just because a couple of your students say you're too strict. I mean a lot of my teachers are really strict. Also i agree with you Haley that is a stupid way to kill yourself

thats not the way to react. It's worse enough killing yourself in front of kids but setting your self on fire...thats just crazy.
