Talking to Iran

President Obama had a phone call with the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. It is the first communication with Iran since 1979. They discussed the attentions for the Iranian Nuclear ambitions. Hopefully this will be a good thing for both sides 

How do you think this will help ease tension with their nuclear powers?

    This is a topic that requires history really understand. You could have helped your readers learn more about the situation. It is a bit brief.

    You should reply more frequently as well.

    Hopefully this means we will start to be coming to peace with more middle eastern countries. I also hope Obama is carefully about what he says to Hassan because I'm sure Iran would not hold back on the US.

    No, Zain that is an awful idea. This could bring good things for the both countries and even some trading might come from it.

    I don't know if this phone call would help things, or make it worse.  I hope things get better because that is a long time since we've talked to them.

    It's a step in the right direction... however, I don't think it will help too much... one phone call isn't going to end a huge conflict like this one

    this shows how things can become even without talking just with social media, I think it should make things better with Syria because they can talk things through instead of acting on social media

    Yes, I agree we needed this to happen so we could prevent a nuclear war. This will be a good thing as long as the president is tell us the truth.

    I think that no country should have nuclear arms, but that's never going to happen. People are too obsessed with "winning" to see the issues, and they're willing to destroy their own world just to win. Hopefully this will at least be a step in the right direction.

    I am surprised that we have not communicated with them for that long. Hopefully we can make an agreement so that no one gets hurt.
