On tuesday in Omaha Nebraska a man got a ticket after authorities said he tried going into the Douglas County Courthouse with a sword inside of a cane.
The security officcers Stopped the 52 year old guy when he was using his walking cane.
When they looked at the cane more they realized that it opened and they found a 19in sword hidden inside.
The man was ticked for carrying a concealed weapon, which is a class 1 misdemeanor, or he could get 1 year in prison and/or 1,000 dollar fine.

He probably just had it if someone would happen to attack him so he could defend himself. One the other hand he might of wanted to kill someone so it was probably a good thing that he got caught with it. He should of just got a consealed weapon liscense I don't think they are very hard to get anymore.
Why would he carry it around when heknows he could get in toruble for it?
the sword cane looks really old so the guy could have made that like a long time ago. but i wonder why he had it?? im glad they caught it.
i guess the big question on everyones mind would be that: what would he have done or what was he planning on doing if anything
I wonder why they would look at his cane, I would never have suspected anything besides an old man with a cane.

Talk about being prepared to use some self-defense. Who cares around a cane with a hidden sword in it that just seems stupid. And why into a courthouse thats even worse.
its probably a good thing they caught that man. if they didnt he mite have hurt someone or even killed them. im sure he wasnt gunna do anything wrong but stil its dangerous.
