Swallowed by a whale?

three people were out enjoying their day on the water near Santa Cruz, California, when a suprising thing happens. A humpback whale almost swallowed a sufer and two kayakers! The whale sufaced with its mouth open just several feet away from them. The whale was just trying to eat some food closer to the shore.

what are your thoughts??

I saw that on the news one day. That would scare the heck out of me! I don't think I would go back in the water after that happened.

wow that would suck if you got eatin by a whale... and plus why are they so close to people in the shallow water...

That's pretty nuts. I wonder if it would've swallowed them if they would've survived for a little while. I would be scared if I almost got eaten by a whale. I'm glad they're okay.

I would be freaking out! I mean would they just have to stay in there or do you fight back against whale or just let him have them!

I'm thinking the whale was just doing his thing and the surfer and kayakers got in the way. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That would be cool to see a whale that close, but I would be so scared if it was about to eat me. It's a good thing that they were okay.

Oh my goodness! If i was that surfer chick, with my legs dangling in the water, then i would've been freaking out! When i was in Florida, I was out on a body board, and a baby shark swam underneath of me! Talk about freaky!

Whoa! That's crazy!! That would definetely be a story to tell....since they survived!
