Survival in the Desert

A man survives 4 days in the desert after breaking his leg. He also dislocated his shoulder, but got it back into place. It's a pretty long article, so I am just covering key points. But there is a movie 127 Hours about a guy who was stuck and his story was later adapted into the movie. That's amazing to me that he could survive that long, and in a desert of all places. What do you think? Would you be able to do that, do you think?

I wouldn't be able to do that!! I've broken my leg and it's not pretty and I've heard it's painful for a dislocation! How on earth could he survive!! He's gotta be rock hard!

I also think that it's pretty crazy. I would like to be positive and say I would be able to survive for four days, but I'm not too optimistic about 127. That;s just crazy.

i thought was impossible live 3 days without water... 4 days ?? how he survive?

I agree with chantel! I could not live without my bed and pillow and water and food for one day let alone 4! I wouldn't know anything about how to survive in a desert and how to find clean water and all that. This is amazing!

Wow i cant beleive he survied all of that! thats crazy! I think this would have been a good movie to see.

wow he is tough! and yea it does remind me of the movie 127 Hours...
