I think that both the defense and off the offense are really important. I personally think that they are each equally important.

I think neither does, and that the most well rounded team will win

yeah, defense has won championships in the past, but not this year. the two teams with homefield advantage throughout the playoffs ended the season ranked 32nd and 31st in yards given up per game. the Packers were 32nd, and the Patriots were 31st. so i think the trend is changing to more of an offensive approach for all teams.

Defense definitely wins super bowls. You can score 50 points, but if you can't stop the opposing team from scoring, then they'll score just as many points. You have to have defense to win games. That's the only reason the Broncos won any games with Tebow under center.
