Your write up/summary should have been more thorough. You didn't provide a link to the story.
I think that Seattle is the team that showed up to play and Denver wasn't ready for it. If Peyton could have had more time in the pocket I think that it would have been a different turn out.
I think if Peyton gets another second in the pocket and they hang on to the ball, it's a complete different ballgame. I would give the Broncos a chance then. Another thing that hurt them was the miscue on the first play of the game. You can't have those mistakes against a good team if you want to win. The 2nd half kick off just showed that the half time was too long and so the Broncos just weren't ready for the 2nd half.
Oh yeah if you take away the second play of the game and the second half kick off it completely changes the ball game.
I can't believe Seattle demolished Denver. It was the #1 offense against the #1 defense so it came down to the Seattle offense against the Denver defense and Seattle got the job done. What really struck me was how Peyton can throw 55+ tds in a season but only 1 in 1 of 3 of his biggest games in his career. I'm happy though Sherman got injured twice and didn't make any big plays. 43-8 great game by the Hawks. But not the most points scored in a super bowl, the most was 55 points to 10 and it was San Fran against Denver. Montana and Rice. Congratulations Malcom Smith with the Pete Rozelle trophy (MVP) as the 3rd linebacker to win the MVP following Chuck Howley of Super Bowl V and Ray Lewis of Super Bowl XXXV. The 24 year old had a 69 yard pick 6, a fumble recovery and 9 total tackles.
Yeah I was happy to see a defensive player win the mvp. You could've given that whole defense the mvp.
I think that the Broncos just weren't prepared for Seattle's defense. I feel bad for Peyton Manning because a super bowl win would have been a good comeback!
Seattles defense was incredible. Made the Broncos look childish. And I do feel bad for Peyton.
