Jerry Demonte Nowlin, 39, died at Oklahoma Medical Center after being shot by officers at the Heritage Pointe Apartments at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Nowlin refused to pull over and then got in a high speed chase until he crashed into a pole. After he crashed, hr ran on foot. He then started shooting at the officers and the officers fired back. Once the officers hit him and knew he was down, they searched his body and found several grams of marijuana and cocaine.
If you were the officers, would you feel bad for killing Jerry Nowlin? why or why not?

I disagree andy because officers have all right to shoot at someone that fired at them first and even if he didn't have a gun, Jerry would be in prison for a long time for charges of resisting an officer, going above speed limit, narcotics Poisson, the list goes on. Bottom line the situation could have not been handled better
I feel the situation could have been handled more carefully, but yes, i wouldn't feel remorse for shooting him
I wouldn't feel very bad because he had all the reason to shoot the man, but it could have gone down better like shooting him in the leg to slow him down.
I wouldn't feel bad he started shooting I wouldn't hesitate to shoot back because I have family to return to.
No I would not feel bad because I have a family that I need to go home and see so if this guy wants to try and take that away from me I'll fire back for sure.
Of course I would feel bad for taking someones life but he fled from the cops, had illegal drugs etc.
I mean, if I were a cop, I would be defending myself, but I would feel bad for killing someone.
I would of done the same thing, but most people would probably feel bad about it.
It is kind of hard. He was shooting at them, but a side of me does feel sad for killing any person, even if they had drugs on them.
No because it was self defense and I would have shot him if he was coming after me too.
