Sub Sleeps, Kid Gets Suspended

In Oklahoma, sub fell asleep while working. A boy in the class took a picture of it on his phone and posted it online. The administration found out and the kid was suspended because he was using his phone in class.

I think this is bull. I have caught a teacher sleeping several times and nothing has happened to that specific teacher. That sub should not be able to teach after that. I think serious action should be taken into affect.

What do you think?

If anything the teacher should not be allowed to sub any more.

I don't think the boy should have been suspended. That's stupid. It wasn't his fault that the teacher fell asleep. i think the sub should be fired

The kid shouldn't have gotten suspended, he should have just gotten his phone taken away at the very least. The teacher should get in trouble for falling asleep.

I think the kid did the right thing. How else was the teacher going to get caught for sleeping? He shouldn't of gotten suspended.

Suspending a student for that is a little harsh. I mean I get he shouldn't have been using his phone but still the sub shouldn't have been sleeping either.

If the kid would've showed an administrator the picture, he probably wouldn't have gotten in trouble. But it's still dumb that he got suspended

I think the concequnces should be reversed around because the only person that did wrong was the sub, and the kid just uncovered the teacher.

i think its completely pointless. the sub should have been the one in trouble. so what if a kid used his phone. its the teacher's fault. there is no real reason for the kid to be in trouble. the teacher pretty much gave him permission by falling asleep.

The kid shouldn't be in trouble. If the teacher didn't want kids using their phones in class, then they shouldn't have fallen asleep. Completely the teacher's fault, not the kid's.
