The New York times interveied many students to get their oppinon on Gorge Floyd's death. They were asked how they felt and many relpied with disapointed, betrayed, disgused, and hurt. There is a few students out there that think their generation can somehow make a difference out of this situation, but their are also kids that said " people need to forget what happened in the past in move on". Some think history is going to repeat its self by going and Gorge Floyd's death has only started it.

- I personaly don't think that history is going to repeat its self just becasue black people have just as many rights as any white person.

- I feel the officer went a little far and could have just brought him into the station, I feel the officer got the consequences he deserved.

I dont think that history will repeat itself because it was different back in the 1800's than it is now. Sure the officers might have taken it a little out of procaution but that is not really their fault, there are many sides to this story. Some of the storys say that he had a dangerous weapon with him and others say that he was completly defenseless. But from what I have seen is that Gorge was resisting arrest and so the cops did what they did.
Well, despite the great protest that there has been, it is obvious that it will continue to happen because there are always bad people all over the world, what is crazy is the minimum punishment given to these policemen.
It might but you can never be sure people need to move on with the situation. I think that the cop was delt with slowly but punishment was just. The whole thing was a overeaction and was delt with the wrong way. Cops need to follow proticol that why it is in place so accidents like this dont happen.
I think yes, history has and always repeats it's self. I think with what happened with the George Floyd situation a lot was learned. But still something bad will happen later in the future and we are gonna go over this all again, it's just a matter of when nd how bad will it be.
I think that it is possible that history is going to repeat itself but I hope that it doesn't. I just think that it is very hard for cops to know the exact situation and for them to know the person they are working with. I also think that the officer took the situation a little to far.
My personal thoughts are that history is going to repeat itself. Someones going to get killed and all this stupid stuff is going to start all over again. I think that George deserved it and I honestly think the cop did the right thing.
I think that history will repeat with black lives matter because people are still gonna keep bringing it up. When george was arrested the police could have been nicer about how they handled his arrest, but we don't know what happened before everything happened.
I think it is very possible that history could repeat itself, as events like this happen rather often around the world. In my opinion, the officer did not have the right to do what he did to George Floyd. However, I do understand that Floyd was not being cooperative and that he may have been committing wrongful actions. But, this does not give the officer the right to murder him.
History always repeats itself, no matter how hard we try. There is a saying that goes "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to, repeat it". I believe that the officer went way too far even though it was on an ex-convict. The officer did get what he deserved but I feel all of these violent protests are never going to stop.
I disagree with you, history doens't always repeat itself. I feel like America has learned from many mistakes and tend to not let huge events repeat itself. Yes, the cop went a little too far, but he never intended anything bad to happen. I also think that the protests will eventually stop, it will just take time.
