Student's Freedom of Speech Rights

With the advent of social media, I am seeing more and more stories of students getting in trouble at school for things they say, do and wear both in school and outside of school. While sometimes the courts rule in favor of the schools, more and more they are siding on the side of students.

 

What I am asking you to do is to link sites/stories that showcase or discuss the history of student's free speech rights.

i think student should be able to say as they please jus as long as it is not bad language.

I think that the students should have rules and have to follow them but i also think we should have some freedom of what we do at school. And the punishments should be left up to what the court says, if it agrees with the school so be it.
