Hi students.
Much of what I do as a teacher is based on student feedback over the years. It has been several years since I last asked for feedback so now is the time once again to do so. Please answer the following questions to get five points extra credit. Please be honest with your answers as I won't hold anything against you as I need both postivie and constuctive feedback to make myself better as a teacher.
Also, please go to Rate My Teacher and rate me there as well. It does require you to sign up which is free and easy with Google sign in.

1. How would you say I do in regards to allowing student choice and opportunites for students to find success in my classroom?
2. One of the biggest goals of mine as a teacher is fairness. Do you feel I am a fair teacher?
3. Another goal of mine is trying to have a postive classroom environment. Do you feel that my classroom is a postive environment? Explain.
4. Do you feel like you learn in my classroom? What could I do differently to help you learn better?
5. Would you say I lecture too much? Would you like to see more project based learning?
6. Please give me feedback on the forum posts and forum post leader grades. Do you like them? Do you dislike them? Why? If you usually don't do them, why don't you do them?
7. Do you feel that the citizenship grade I started this semester is something that I should continue in the future? Please explain why or why not.
8. What is your favorite thing about this class and least favorite thing about this class.
9. Do you like how I rotate the type of tests I give? Explain.
10. Please add anything else you would like to that would help make me a better teacher and my classroom a better environment.

1. I think you do great in giving out student choide and opportunities, especially with extra credit options and different choices with forum posts.

3. I do think that you have a positive environment in your classroom, and I feel like you kind of talking to the students about a topic in a way that we can understand is very good

5. I prefer lectures over projects, as creativity is not a strong suit for me
6. I don't think there should be any changes to the forum posts and the grading system to said forum posts
7. I think citizenship grades are good for kids that need the little boost in their grading for the class
8. I like the videos that you show us and I don't really care for small portions of the slideshows that you present to us
9. I do because it gives us some sort of variety and unpredictability to how you put out exams and tests.
10. I do not have anything else to have, thank you for being one of the best teachers of my last year in HCHS.

1. We get reminded to do our forum posts almost daily.
2. I think you are fair to everyone, even to the people who choose not to do their work.
3. I think that there is always a positive environment in your classroom even with different opinions in class discussion.
4.I feel like I learn a lot in your classroom. I just think a lot of students get bored or uninterested in subjects like poverty.
5.I like when you explain what is going on with current events but not with other subjects like homelessness. I would not mind if we had more partners or group projects.
6. I like forum posts because then I know more about current events. I always do them because they are an easy A.
7. I think that the students that interrupt class are not going to stop because they usually do not care about their grades.
8. I like the class discussion. I do not like presenting to the class.
9.We only get map quizzes in CWI but I do not mind them.
10. It is nice to be able to pick our partners for every project we do. I think we work better when we know who we are working with.

1. I would say you allow students several opportunities to earn extra credit.
2. I feel that with all you opportunities you allow students shows how fair you are to our sucess.
3. You class room is very positive classroom, I almost never hear anything negative in class.
4. I Definitely learn in your class as you clearly explain what youre covering and restate what important to know when lecturing.
5. I personally would prefer more project learnin as I feel it would engage me more into the history topic im learning.
6. I Do like the forum posts, its a very unique thing that allows students to share opinions freely and earn class points for it. I usually dont complete the forum posts as I tend to foreget about them and im just in a bad habit of not completing work that ive been trying to break out if.
7.Personally the citizenship grade doesnt persuade me to behave unlike some other kids but I do think it is somewhat useful for those who misbehave
8. My favorite thing about your class is being able to share my knowledge of the topics we discuss that i already know. What I dislike the most is mainly just my lack of me applying myself to the class because I feel like I know alot of the stuff we talk about.
9. Yes, I do enjoy the rotation of the test types, but personally I do prefer essay tests as it requires a better understanding of the topic to be correct.

1) You allow lot of diversity and options for people that would like to do things in a different way and you have extra credit.
2)Yes you are fair no matter what grade the student takes and how they behave.
3)Yes it is mostly positive, i haven't seen anything negative yet.
4)I learn most of the time but some times i space off and you could try asking more questions about interesting stuff to keep the people involved.
5)I think there can be a balance, i think we did a lot more projects at the first semester compared to second.
6)I think they are very good and keep people involved in news.
7)It encourages behavior and it is a easy point if you are well behaving.
8)Extra credits and the alternatives, and the long videos are sometimes boring.
9)Yes it is really dynamic. You are doing a good job compared to other classes.

5. You can ramble a lot sometimes and I like projects so yes I would like to see more projects.
6. I like them but sometimes I forget about them and do not finsish them on time.
7. Yes because its an easy grade if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing.
8. I like all the discussions we have as a class but I don't like map tests.
9. I dont know I havent been here that long to know all of the tests you give.
10. I think that everythings good.
