On October 4, 2018, a school bus crashed and erupted into flames in suburban Dallas. This crash caused a devastating tragedy of killing a 12 year old girl and injuring 3 other students. The bus was carrying 42 students from Terry Middle School. A TV report says that the crash happened when the rear wheels of the bus slide off into the grass by the side of the rode. The bus driver over corrected and caused the bus to go straight into oncoming traffic. According to the report the oncoming traffic turned to miss the collision, but the bus went right into power lines that started a fire. The young girl died from being trapped in the overturned bus. And the police report stated that the younger sister of the girl that passed away said that she couldn’t reach her sister during the crash. Also the police say that three students, the driver and three other officers were taken to the hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Although, this crash is still under full investigation.

If the bus driver didn’t over correct this crash could have been avoided but it wasn’t the drivers fault that wheels slide off onto the rode.
What would you do if you knew the school bus you were in was about to crash?
I would try and make sure that all the other kids in the bus were sitting in there sit and if the bus caught on fire like this one I would try and get all the kids out first.

Maybe quit his job because he sounds like he doesn't know how to drive . He should've first slowed down and not trried to correct.Then slammed on the brakes if going straight toward traffic. Or let go of brakes and told kids to brace. I would if I was there I'd brace for impact, and then after the crash I'd help people if i was able to or even alive still.
if i were on the bus and i knew it was about to crash i would sit in the seat and prepare for impact. even thinking of the fact that i could die i would try my hardest to make sure other people are safe before i make sure i am.
I don't think it was the drivers fault that the back tires slid off the road, but if he didn't overcorrect the crash could have been avoided. If I knew the schol bus I was in was about to crash, I would make sure everyone was in their seats. I would try to get everyone off the bus safely and make sure no one was left beind or hurt.
I don't think this was the drivers fault, it seems like a freak accident caused by road conditions. I would definitely try and get everyone out or alert the bus driver that something was about to happen and he would need to act fast.
The bus driver could have avoided the crash by not over correcting, but it wasn't his fault. It's natural for anyone to over correct once they have lost control, especially in a bigger vehicle. If I knew we were going to crash I would try to remain as calm as possible, and try to keep everyone on the bus as safe as possible. Then I would try to get everyone off safely once we crashed.
Yes the driver shouldn't have over corrected but he shouldn't have needed to in the first place. There might have been bad road conditions or the weather but if that wasn't the case then the driver could have been distracted for example causing him to go off into the rode where then he over corrected.
He could of avoided it if he didn't over correct himself, but anyone would do what he did if they over corrected. Well, its unexpected, so you cant really do anything, you wouldn't know when its going happen, if its going to happen. So you can't really do anything, but after the crash help the students out of the bus.
I don't think he could have. Most people when something like that would happen would probably do the same as him. They would react and it may not be the right kind of reaction. I think it would happen so fast that you would not have time to think about anything.
Yes I think that if the bus driver didn't over correct they would have been fine and they wouldn't have even crashed. I would try to get everyone out of the school bus and then try to help the bus driver get out. Also, I would tell the bus driver to be careful driving.
