A snow storm blowing in from the north and over Michigan has accounted for the delay of 1,400 flights in the area. On Sunday a plane in Detroit slid off the runway and into a patch of grass. Meteorologists say that this is just the second wave out of three that is to hit the United States. This storm has brought snow fall to the mid-west, and the third wave is expected to bring even more. This snow storm is intensified when it travels over the great lakes due to the fact that the lakes are not frozen yet,so it picks up lake effect snow as well as the snow it already had.

1. If you were one of the people who's flight was delayed, would you want your money back? Why or why not?
2. Are you hoping that the third storm wave brings us more snow? Why or why not?
1. If I was one of the people, than I might want my money back it all depends on where I was going and why, but I do think that the airports should offer people there money back.
2. I do hope that the third wave brings us more snow, and a lot of it. It would be nice to have a couple days off of school in the middle of the week.

Well done overall! Be sure to comment on three different days.
I would not want my money back for the flight unless the flight was cancelled. Planes get delayed and I would rather be late than have myself and other people in plane crashes. It is not anybody's fault that the weather is not desirable but it is better than being 40,000 feet in the air with these weather conditions. I like snow because it makes the cold more bearable. Negative temperatures without snow is terrible and pointless.
Yes I would absolutely want my money back. I paid for a plane ride and the airline didn't deliver, so they should give you your money back. Yes I want more snow, winter sucks without snow, except for the fact that it makes driving worse.
I don't think I would won't my money back unless they canceled the flight and I never got to fly to my destination. If my flight was delayed or postponed I don't think I would request a refund because the airport workers cannot control the weather and they are only looking out for my safety. I would enjoy snow because we haven't had a lot of snow in a while.
Of course I would want my money back if I could not take my plane. If I could not get where I wanted, then why should I have to pay for it. I would love to have snow, especially for Christmas; I love having a white Christmas.
I agree with you , if I wasn't able to get to where I wanted to get than I think that I should be offered my money back. I think snow would be great, but as i've said before only for Christmas.
I would obviously want my money back, because I never got my money's worth. I would then be able to use that money to buy a new plane ticket. I hope that the third wave brings more snow, because I just love the beauty of freshly fallen snow (as long as I'm all snuggled up INSIDE) :) I also hope that the snow lasts at least until Christmas (I love good old-fashioned white Christmases).
I agree, because you aren't getting the flight you paid for so why wouldn't you want you r money back. I hope that the third wave brings snow for Christmas and that's about it because I hate snow.
Yes and no because i would want my money back but obviously they cant give everyone there money back. No because like most people i dont like snow.
I feel like the airport is obligated to offer people refunds in this situation, because they paid for a flight to leave at a certain time and they didn't get what they paid for. I agree with you 100% I hate snow.
