Stolen Comic Book Valued At $15K

A rare Spider-Man comic book valued at $15,000 has been stolen from a home in Lincoln.The comic, "Amazing Fantasy No. 15," is the first appearance of Spider-Man and sold for 12 cents in 1962.Nearly 50 years later it sells for thousands of dollars and in May, an unnamed buyer purchased a mint condition copy for more than $1 million.The owner of the comic stolen from the Lincoln home believes it was taken between Oct. 27 and Monday morning.

  • It has to be someone who knows where it is, and that they have it. Otherwise it is a bunch of talk and that would be how someone got it. There is a chance of getting it back, but honestly, the person could have sold it already, and just to be stupid, left the country. I don't know!!

  • Whoa! That's a lot of money for a comic book. I've never read a comic book. It's amazing how little things cost back then.
