SpaceX, a rocket making company headed by Elon Musk, inventer of the Tesla car company, is planning to launch the most powerful rocket into space. This massive rocket is called the Falcon Heavy and is said to be able to take passengers to Mars, however, they won't use it to take civilians to Mars because they have a different plan for that. The first flight will be taking a payload that consists of a Tesla roadster from Elon Musk's personal collection. The rocket will only cost $90 million, which is $310 million cheaper than the current most powerful rocket; and they are able to build a rocket that is so cheap because the company has reusable rocket parts. The launch date is estimated to be sometime later in 2018.

Good job overall. I do think you could have commented more frequently.
I believe that the company will further their research and inventions for many years; however, I don't think they would be able to take people to Mars without the help of other individuals or companies. In my opinion, it is a lot of money, but as long as they don't go too far, I believe they are making good improvements to our technology which can easily effect our future in a positive way.
This is really cool to see how far technology has changed. SpaceX can make cheaper rockets for the "Big" Companys. Since technology just keeps involing at somepoint we might able to travel to other plants.
This is amazing, I absolutly adore the idea of space exploration. Considering that SpaceX can produce cheaper rockets than big budget compainies like NASA says a lot about economical competition in the United States. I am very excited to see this rocket launch and see more involvement in space exploration. THe human race is reaching the golden age of space exploration and I'm more than ready for it.
I believe that this company will hit new heights in Space technology and inovaction. The time and money being put in the company will surely pay off and I feel like we could possibly be able to travel to other planets with all the technology that this company iis making
I think this industry can go very far with the knowledge and science that they have, they can be very fast and ally with other companies and be the best of the best discoveries out in space. no, I think they are doing a good job, and they are investing very well, this speaks a lot about them, they are good managers in the company, and they have a long way to go, and explore.
I think they will be able to take other people out to Mars. No it's not a waste. I think it's really cool. I would love if it continues to happen. I mean just think about how many kids would love that. The ones that love space and would have an amazing time going to mars with a parent of course. Most kids that would like that or end up doing things like that become astornots and things like that.
This company sounds very confident and is looking at to be very successful in the future. This will help lead our knowledge in the study of space and hopefully propell us to learn more. I think the money put into this is for us so there is no better way to spend it.
I think this company could easily become the face of the space travel industry, as long as this rocket is succesful. I think that it is good we want explore space and learn more about it, but I think we need to focus on our planet first. We are treating earth terribly and fixing it needs to be the top priority, rather than looking for a do over planet for when we push earth to its limit.
1. If the company really has the knowhow to be able to do this kind of work, then NASA might start sweating. They seem unstoppable if they really can the most powerful rocket ever for less than 1/4 of the price of the current one.
2. I don't think time and money into space exploration is a waste. This is because we are exhausting Earth's resources, and we will want to be able to get to a different planet at some point. Also, we wouldn't have lots of the technology and ammentities we have today without space travel, such as the CAT scan, the microchip, joystick, memory foam, insulation, satelite radio/television, and cordless tools.
