SpaceX Sending Tourist To Space

The famous company SpaceX led by billionaire Elon Musk has decided to send four people without any astronaut knowledge three days into space. The trip took off on Wednesday night the crew was two winners of a competition, a health worker and his rich sponsor. on the most ambitious journey so far in space tourism. The mission called Inspiration4 is the first orbital mission to be staffed entirely with tourists or non- astronauts. The mission has been called the beginning of a new era although it is still very far from being a reality that people can travel to space for pleasure.

Without astronauts involved, the historic mission looks to make space more accessible in the future for all who wish to go. This mission of ordinary people, but charitable, because they all joined in the fundraising for a children's hospital. The capsule took off at the Kennedy Space Center powered by a Falcon 9 rocket that had previously also been used by SpaceX. This historic step for private space travel follows several months of great activity by the US space agency NASA thanks to SpaceX rockets and reusable capsules, which reduce the costs of new commercial missions, which began in 2020.

In my opinion, it is a good idea that in the future space tourist trips are available to anyone. So that everyone can live a unique experience, although that is still very far from being able to happen, there is a lot of possibilities that in the future this will become a reality.

Do you think space travel is something that might happen in the future?

Would you like to travel to space just for pleasure?

  • Good topic choice and well done overall Jackson! You did a great job replying to people! I would like to see your summary include more of your personal thoughrs and opinions.

  • Comercial space travel, especially as time gooes on, will only become more normal. At some point, the idea of comercial space flight will not only be something for the super wealthy. Only if my saftey was guaranteed, would I go on a comercial flight to space.

  • I think with all of our technolgy advancments it is possible that more space travel happen in the future for just ordinary people with no training. I do think it will be limited to only the people who can pay top dollar though. I think it would be a cool but scary experiance to be able to.

  • I think space travel is definetly in our future because technology is getting very advanced. But I'm sure its going to be vey expenisve to take a trip to space and I bet it won't be affordable for almost everyone besides the very rich people. If I could I would like to go to space because it would be very cool to see all the planets.

  • I definetly think that space travel will one day be a very common thing once science evolves and new technoligy emerges. I think that traveling to space would be very cool because you would get to see the world from a completly different prospective than being on it.

  • I think that space travel for anyone will happen in the near future. However, I belive that it's going to be very expensive and won't happen till at least 2035. I personally would like to travel to space becuase I think it'd be a once in a lifetime experience. Also so I can say that I've been to space.

  • Space travel could happen but I feel that is way into the future to be a normal thing. I feel that it wouldn't be too easy for non millionaires to go on those trips to space I feel it is likely to cost a lot of money. I also feel that without learning to live in space it could go wrong very quickly. If I had a chance to travel to space I'm not sure what I would pick because it seems cool but it's not a big thing in my interest.

  • I would like to travel to space in the future. I think that traveling to space would be a very memorable trip full of cool and unique views. Personally, I can't see how I would afford this most likely very expensive trip, but if I could afford a trip like this I would likely spend the money on other things. In general, I would travel to space if it was free.

  • Yes, I believe that one day in the near future space will be a regular trip for millionaires. I can personally see many people wanting to visit and travel to space but I can't see many people affording the likely expensive prices. With two large companies both competing with each other to make this a reality I believe that this will happen sooner rather than later.

    • yes, I also agree rich people will b the first to experience this since these trips are not going to be cheap at all because of all the procedures in order to go to space and also just the experience but, of course, this is something that can be seen as a regular activity in the future.
