SpaceX is in the process of testing a prototype spaceship. The prototype of a smaller 100 passenger spaceship that is still being built. As of now the space ship will only take brief "hops" according to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The date of the test has not yet been released but a judge has closed roads in the area for two days. If these tests go well SpaceX intends to make the rocket reusable space travel system. Musk wants to use the ship to colonize Mars, in fears of human extinction on Earth because of climate change or any other event that could cause the extinction of humans on Earth. He has stated that the ship could be flying to Mars by 2020.

Do you think other space companies will begin to make similar products, if so why?
Ithink spoace travel will become much more popular if this spaceship is a success I think other companies will develope their own ships.
If this ship is successfull do you many people will move from Earth to Mars, why or why not?
If humans are able to live on Mars I think many people will travel there depending on the price.

1. I think they will because I bet SpaceX will be successful and other companies will want to follow their tracks,
2. I think many people will to try it out and see if life on another planet is possible.
I agree, if it is profitable other companies will join, and it would be interesting to see Mars.
Technology is always in competition, so I defenantly think that tech companies will make objects like the prototype space ship. I think that the majority of the people would not want to becuase they would like to give Mars a couple years to see if its inhabitable or not. I mean I would not mind going to Mars.
I agree, it will take much more research before people will feel safe moving to Mars.
If the ship ends up to be a success I defintely think people will start to move to Mars. Mostly because going to a different planet is not an everday trip. So if the average person has the option to go to Mars I think lots of people will take advantage of that.
I agree, it would be pretty cool to be able to go to space for a vacation but it could take awhile to get there.
1. well i think that the project that elon musk is working on is a bit flawed considering its supposed to hold 100 people for 5 to 10 months and it has no gym facilities so that people can exercise to encourage bloodflow
2. well it will probably only be affordable by rich people and even then they have to be suitable to go into space as im sure that they wont let just anyone go to mars
It is still unclear what will be included on the ship, but I agree without a gym for excercise and other facilities it would be bad for passengers.
I think that they will begin to make similar products because it would make them very rich if they succeded in making something capable of transporting humans to Mars. I think that people will move aslong as it's safe and affordable, but some people like myself wouldn't want to go to Mars.
