On Tuesday in Southern California at least two wind-whipped wildfires are forcing almost 30 thousand people to evacuate their homes. The fires have already covered 45 thousand acres and destroying over 150 structures according to the Ventura County Fire Department. "The prospects for containment are not good really, Mother Nature is going to decide when we have the ability to put it out because it is pushing hard with the wind.” is what Chief Lorenzen of the Ventura County fire department said. There have been no fatalities that have been recorded yet. There are over 1,000 firefighters that are working to stop the fire. There have also been many towns without power.

I think that I would gather my things and move them somewhere else so that if my house caught fire my stuff wouldn't be there. You can prevent wildfires by only burning when the state wildlife people say it is safe. Also not burning when its windy out. You can also prevent it by not leaving a fire when its still burning. A fire can still be burning even when you can't see flames. Always make sure to follow the states rules and make sure the fire is completely out before leaving it.
I don't know because you can't really prepare for something like this to happen and even if you did, you would most likely forget a step that you had planned because of all the chaos. I don't any one person can prevent wildfires - it has to be a team effort, but what people could do is they can stop leaving the devices that can be used to start fires in places that can be dangerous like the forest.
There is not much you can do to prepare for this as you never know when it will happen. I would have an evacuation plan and make sure to keep my special belongings in a safe that is fire proof. You can prevent them by controlling when you burn things and to not have fires or fireworks if you live in these types of areas.
I don't know if I would want to even live near a place that is known to have wildfires, but if I did I would want to have a place where my family and I could go to if something did happen. Be smart when using a fire.
I would spray everything with water so it doesn't catch fire as easy and maybe even leave for a bit just to make sure you are safe. You could make sure to put fires out and smother them completely.
If I lived close to a potentially dangerous forest or wildfire kind of environment, I would in all honesty just be prepared to leave at any point. I would rather not live near these in the first place if I had a choice but if I had to be their with my fears I would probably never really settle. Not fully anyway. I don't really know what I could do to prevent these fires because honestly i'm not even sure how they get this bad in the first place.
1. I would have all my important belongings ready to be transported if I had to move out fast. I would also keep a very close eye on where the fire is so I would know how much time I had if the fire came any closer. 2. I don't think there's any prevention at this point. But you probably shouldn't make bonfires close to branches.
1. I suppose you are never prepared for a fire, but I would take everything necessary from my home like important papers, cash and other important things.
2. All of us have to start contributing to the environment, recycling helps a lot besides not throwing glass or cigarette butts would help a lot to the fires, we also have to worry about how the forests are.
I think that at this time the best thing for everyone is to evacuate. Firefighters dont want someone thats stubborn and thinks they can help but really just making things worse. I would turn the gas off in my house and go to a hotel or with family. Presenting wildfires is simple, when you have a camp fire make sure its contained or surrounded by rocks, water is near, and when you want to put the fire out dump water on it but then continue to check on it making sure its cold.
