The Uiseong garbage pile is the largest garbage pile in South Korea. It all started in 2008 around just 2000 tons of waste and over the years has grown to around 170,000 tons of waste. The giant pile of trash caught on fire and workers tried to get the fire out and it turned out bad. They got the flames down in some of the pile then a huge part of the pile burst into flames. It has now been burning for around 3 months and producing lots of smoke and many horrible smelling fumes. Workers and Fire fighters say that the end of the fire in no where in sight and it could keep burnign for months to come. People in the area can't open any windows and can barely stand to be outside.

1- What would you do if this happened where you lived?
I would be upset and I would probably try to help or do anything to help the fire stop faster.
2- Would you try to help to prevent this from happening again?
Yes I would probably take my trash to a new location that would be safer and possibly a little cleaner and better taken care of.

Well done overall Robert. I do think your questions could be stronger as well as you summary.
I would try to get out of the area and find another place to live while things are getting resolved that way I did not get hurt. I would absolutely try to prevent this from happening again because it is affecting my life.
I would probably try to stay clear of the area and find somewhere else to live for a while because the air and gases wouldn't be good for anyone's lungs. I would want to help prevent a fire like that but most importantly help prevent people from throwing away so much, buying things that will be thrown away right away, and throwing away things that could be donated.
I would also try and get out of the area for a while and find somewere else to live because it could definetly be dangerous for your lungs and body. I think it would be really hard to get people to throw away less things, but you could also try and have the government get involved and find a different way of disposoving the trash like insinigrating it.
I don't know if there's anything I could do except move away from the effected area because of the fume's toxicity. Also, if at all possible it might be worth trying to smother with sands or something.
Yea, most likely by incinerating the trash or spreading it out more or burying it. This would definitely help stop the raging fires from spreading across the US.
I think I too would probably take my trash to a new location that would be safer and possibly a little cleaner and better taken care of. I would also try to help think of new ways to dispose of trash and make for more cleaner ways to recycle and re use products that may be more harmful to garbage dumps. I think they should try to disperse the trash to other places not jsut one
If this were to take place where I live I would try to keep the smell out of my house and if I couldn't do that I would probably move. Yes, I would try and prevent this from happening by taking my trash elsewhere and not have it all in the same area.
Yeah I think I too would be upset and I would probably try to help or do anything to help the fire stop faster. I would probably aslo try to move away as soon as possible since this could cause a number of helath problems to me and my family since the smoke probably carries a lot of toxins from the garbage that could be deadly to humans if breathed in
If this happened where I live I would try and keep as much of the smell out of my house as possible and if I could maybe I would try and stay with some family somewere else. I would try and start a movement to stop dumping trash there and get rid of it so it doesn't happen again.
If this happened where I lived I might consider temporarily moving because of the fumes, which could be toxic depending on the material being burned. Yes, by all means I would try to help prevent this from happening again. Lack of recycling is probably a huge factor as to why the trash pile got too big in the first place.
