After many years of unsuccessful attempts the supporters of the law about carrying a concealed handgun without a permit in south dakota. They think that it will pass with the upcoming governor of south dakota takes office in january. South dakota's senator elect Lynne DiSanto says "There are a lot of Republicans that are very excited to have a conservative governor," said DiSanto. "I think under a new governor it's very likely to pass." This law also failed to pass in 2012,2017 and 2018 but are thinking they will get it passed with the new governor
If you lived in south dakota would you want this law to pass
No because i feel like allot of bad people could just have a handgun and it wouldn't be illegal
Do you think the law will pass with the new governor for south dakota

Be sure to capitalize words that should be and also use punctuation when you should. You also didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 20 points.
If I lived in South Dakota I would not want this law to pass. The idea of having hidden weapons should only retain to a small population, as to stop sudden lethal conflicts. I think it might just happen with the new governor if the federal government doesn't step in.
I would not want this law to pass and this is simply because it is unsafe. I think that our gun laws are already unsafe, but this would make things 10x worse. I don't think this law is going to pass because there are many people in the US that oppose these kinds of laws.
I would not wan this law to bass because I like the idea of people having backround checks and qualifying to carry a handgun. Yes, I think the law will pass with the new governor because it made it sound like he if for it to pass.
I wouldn't want this to pass because it could get guns into the wrong hands. People who shouldn't be able to carry a gun would be able to. I think it might pass with the new governor because of the fact that the new governer wants it to pass.
As it looks now, I can't think of a way to prevent the law from being passed. It is hard to deny/ignore the thoughts of all these supporters. It is bound to be passed when the new governor takes over.
This is a such a terrible decision. Even if the crime rate isn't that high, giving the ability to do this could result in more crime. I realize that having a concealed firearm could act as a detergent from possible commiters of crime but it is just to risky to let people run around with guns without proper background checks.
No, this is a horrible law, unless there are heavy background checks on the purchasing of those guns, I would be scared of criminals not needing anything to get the gun. Yes, it looks like there are many supporters of the law.
I wouldn't want it to pass only because there are some people who would abuse the right. It wouldn't really be safe for anyone. It's possible for the law to pass, but I wouldn't say that it's entirely possible. You have to take into account the good and bad of this kind of situation.
I would not want this law to pass because I think there needs to be a background search on who should be able to carry. I don't think anyone should be able to carry because then it's going to get wreckless. I think there will be a lot of people who want this law to pass so I think it will pass.
