Will Krause of South Carolina took to Facebook sharing the video of him being attacked by a shark while out spearfishing in Abacos. In the video, which has over 300,000 views Krause can be seen swimming about when a 6-7 ft reef shark comes up behind him. The shark struck Krause in the back of the head and neck, luckily causing minimal damage. Krause stated that “He distinctly remembers the sound of the crunch of [his] head, which is not a pleasant sound.” He luckily escaped with several stitches and some gnarly scars. Krause said that the experience has shifted his perspective of life and that he hopes this Thanksgiving pointed us not just to the reality that you are blessed, but to the One who is giving the blessing.
What would you do in this scenario?
Do you believe that shark attacks have gone up in numbers? Why?

1.) I think I would panick, but at the same time I feel like I might be calm because of the shock that a shark bit me. 2.) Yes, I think there has been more shark attacks recently, I am not forsure why.
I think I would panic in this situation, but I've never been in a situation anything like getting attacked by a shark so I wouldn't really know. I think that shark attacks maybe have gone up lately because of the food supply in the ocean that sharks normally eat. Or the climate and temperature of the water could be causing the sharks to swim more inland than before.
Aw, that's a really cool message that this guy brought out of this. I'm glad he's okay and I'm shocked that he is alright as well. I mean, how can you get bit in the neck by a SHARK and have "minimal damage"? On the bright side, the guy has a gnarly story to tell if anyone asks about the scars.
I would have been very scared in this scenario especially after him saying that he could hear the crunch of his head. I would try to stay calm but that probably wouldn't work. I think they have because no one thinks that this is going to happen to them so they aren't scared.
in this scenerio i would either just let the dang thing eat me fast or spear him in the head and bring back somehting cool for the family to see
I would never go swimming again and i would stay out of the ocean I would also be thankful that im alive and be a little bit more apreshative in life
I would say that it has gone up I would say that to many morans go into dangours areas and end up getting eaten by these sharks we just need to stop going so far out in the ocean in these areas where sharks are
I've been to the ocean so many times, and I feel like I would try to swim at it and attack it. It has been tested that sharks do truly feed off our fear. If they see us retreat then they tend to attack sooner. A trained professional hoped into the water with a bull shark, one of the most fiercest sharks world wide, and he swam straight at it. The shark actually retreated once then thought he should come back. Then the professional swam straight at the shark again. The shark finally left. I feel like the numbers of sharks are probably rising, but I mean it's just reproduction for those animals. It's the same as humans so. It's not a problem that they reprouduce it's their territory mostly anyways.
If I was in this scenario I would be very scared and shocked about the shark attack. I would be very thankful to get away with only stitiches and not great damage to my body. I think it seems like they have gone up in numbers. I am not really sure why this is but maybe the fish have hit a decline.
As far as getting attacked by a shark? There really isn't much you can do about it but be positive. As far as the attacks going up in the year. Maybe the warmer weather makes people want to go to the ocean more and become risky and biting them.
