Sound analytics confirm 2 shooters at Las Vegas

Many may consider the Las Vegas shooting "Old News" but new studies show that there may have been 2 shooters at the Mandalay Bay attacks. A forensic sound investigator delved into the audio recorded by many different phones during the Mandalay Bay shooting to figure this problem out. After many different calculations and tests, there has been many people who have confirmed the existence of 2 shooters. By taking the time of the sound produced by the muzzle before the bullets hitting the pavement, an investigator could predict how far away a shooter was. But there were 2 very different results. 1 shooter had to have been around 470 yards away and the other around 270 yards. And the distance between the two windows that were shot out is much less than that of 200 yards.

1. Do you think there were 2 shooters, or incorrect audio? Why?

2. If there were 2 shooters, why do you think only 1 was "caught"?

I think based on the multitude of people analyzing this audio and saying there are 2 shooters, then the evidence is almost irrefutable. So many different factors play in and it solidifies the evidence. I think only 1 man was caught because of many different factors. 1 of the most obvious to me is that this was more of a set-up. Now before you call me crazy consider this. Why is there solid evidence of 2 shooters, but only 1 was caught? And how come this just disappeared from the news after 2 weeks? Every Government news channel stopped reporting all at the same time, and each had the same story.

  • Interesting story and well done!

  • 1. This is very reliable information. I do think that this data is correct and there were two shooters. I think there should be further searching if they are not for sure, and if they are the search needs to be started for the second person.

    2. I think it was more obvious that the first shooter was in the hotel room. There is a chance that the second shooter left in the middle of the attack to hide, and didn't go as long as the shooter that was caught.

    • That is one of the first theories that I have heard that thought of the shooter leaving in the middle of the attack, or at least amidst it. And I agree on the fact that there should be more searching on the fact of two shooters.

  • Yes I think that there were two shooters because an investigator that is professional in these things and he known those types of crimes. I think the one way caught because the other got away somewhere because he didn't want to be caught.

  • I believe there was only 1 shooter. I think that someone would have seen another shooter and would have been much more passionate about telling people. I don't think that there are two shooters, but if there was then the cops probably just took out the man that everyone knew was there.

  • I think there are probably two shooters, because of the number of shots were taken and the lack of a long reload time. I think only one was caught because they were only looking for one shooter and before they could interrogate him about another he shot himself.

  • I don't know if I believe this or not because sometimes the audio of phone videos can get kind of messed up so it might have been the phone or an echo from the gunshot. I think that 1 man was caught because there was one open window and police probably just assumed that there was one shooter so they tried to find him. If there was another shooter, he might have got away and took advantage of the police only looking for one guy.

    • A valid point, but wouldn't professionals be able to tell the difference from and echo and the real thing? And the echo would be nearly identical to the original sound, but phone files could have very well been damaged and not recorded right.

  • I'm not sure what to believe because there isn't a lot of factual evidence behind this hypothesis, but it could be plausible. The audio might have been the shots echoing. This theory isn't supported enough for me to believe it. I think that in such a terrifying moment, one shooter was identified and so everything possible was done to stop him. In times of terror, sometimes you do whatever is best at that moment and whatever you can do that will help the situation. Its too late to add another suspect to the shooting because where would he have been? Where did he go? It doesn't make sense.

    • I completely agree. Lots of the data doesn't link up with real evidence and none of it makes that much sense. All of the evidence also very easily could have gotten messed with, as blame to the thousands of people visiting the area and those already there.
