The gas prices in America are at an all time high due to Joe Biden closing the gas pipe line. And hurricane ida that slowed down oil refining speed.plus other countries need some to make power cause they cant or dont have enough resources to make their own.
First reason in the pipeline. Joe Biden closed the Keystone pipeline in 2021. So he stopped the production of the pipeline. So then places like Nebraska oil refineries can't get enough crude oil to make gas and oil. So then that slowed making of gas makes the gas prices go up.
Second reason why is because of hurricane ida. Hurricane ida when it came it shut down oil drills and refineries in the gulf of mexico. So then not enough raw oil was coming into the u.s. So because of that gas prices went up 15 cents per gallon. Doesn't seem like that much but the more you buy the little more it goes up.
The last reason is because of the gas deficit in other countries. We shit out crude oil out to countries like Saudi Arabia.Russia,Canada,China, Iraq and many more. So all those countries that we sell to it less oil we have for fuel. So just him shutting it down made the gas prices rise $1 to anywhere to $4 . Depends where you are and how many people live there.
Do you think this was a good choice that he made?
If you were him, what would you do differently?

I dont htink that sleepy joe should have shut down the keystone pipeline because it raises the gas prices across the nation. When the gas prices rise that means that people no longer want to drive as much and go to places and buy things wich really hurts our economy.
it was not a good idea to close the pipe because it only cause citizens to pay more for a basic fuel for transportation
I think that it was a bad idea because now the gas prices are very high and people are trying to find places that gas it cheaper than others. He should have thought about what he could do differently instead of closing the pipeline.
I think closing the pipeline line was a terrible decision because the gas prices are now out rageas. I think he should have come up with another supply of oil before he shut it down. Not only did it raise the gas prices it also left thousands with no job.
I think Joe Biden needs to bring a solution because it was something that he knew was going to happen. You cannot just close the pipeline and expect nothing to happen. I feel like if I was him I would have come with a plan after closing the pipeline so the price wouldn't increase and people shouldn't spend that more on gas.
I don't think that it was a good choice because of how much money people are losing every time they get gas. We also need gas to get around everywhere. I would not have shut down the pipeline because now the gas prices have risen to an all time high. I think that it was a very bad decision and needs to be fixed very soon so people don't lose as much money as they get gas.
I don't think it was a very good decision, maybe in his eyes what he did was right, but all he's doing is angering the people because they are having to pay, as you mentioned, 15 cents more. That doesn't sound like a whole lot, but it adds up really quick especially for cars that take a lot of gallons.
I believe it was a dumb decision because if we don't have gas, how's half the darn country going to get around? It's far too much to walk to another state, and not everyone has bikes. If I was Joe Biden, I would've kept the pipeline open so the Country didn't run out of gas.
I think that Joe Biden made a terrible choice shutting down the pipeline. If I were sleepy Joe I wouldn't have shut down the pipeline for many reasons. I think Biden shutting down the pipeline was a terrible mistake. This is because this will cause the economy to drop gas prices to skyrocket, which is what we are currently experiencing.
