This weekend has been all about different gaming awards. (video) Games are categorized just like movies would be for the Oscars or how music videos are for the VMA's. A few of the categories include most original score, best trailer, best indie (amateur) game, most compelling character, and the coveted game of the year. Two of the biggest gaming awards were this weekend and included the Inside Gaming Awards and Spike TV's Video Game Awards. Both of which the RPG game Skyrim won game of the year.
Personally, I really wanted Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception to win game of the year just as it's predecessor (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves) did in 2009. If you are a gamer (you don't have to answer this if you're not!) are you happy with Skyrim's outcome and its great achievement?
