Should we listen to Christmas music before or after Thanksgiving?

There are lots of debates on if we should listen to Christmas music before or after Thanksgiving. People like to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving, because it really gets them ready for the holiday season. Others think Thanksgiving is its own holiday and needs more credit. Thats why some wait to listen to Christmas music after Thanksgiving. Either way, its your own opion, but I will tell you what the research says. Although neither answer is wrong. 

Why should we listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving? We should start listening to Christmas music early because it lightens the mood, and can bring positive thoughts during the cold weather. Lots of people have great Christmas memories, which listening to music can bring back the joy of those memories. Christmas music makes most people very happy, its very peacful and an enjoyful genre of music. Stores may also start playing Christmas music earlier than you'd like because it brings the mood to shop. 

Why should we wait until after Thanksgivng to listen to Christmas music? Some say that every year Christmas seems to start earlier every year. While they love to enjoy the other holidays before than. It seems hard to as people start to celebrate Christmas too early. Each holiday should have its transition into the next. They all have their own spotlight. While people are shopping and hearing Christmas music earlier than they please, it could annoy then and make them want to leave the store. 

I personally think Christmas music should be played until after Thanksgiving. ALthough I enjoy Christmas music, it can get annoying after too long. Some people who can stand that and enjoy the Christmas spirt ealrier than others can start listeining to Christmas music ealier. I dont think its very neciessary. But if others enjoy it, than you do you.

I don't personally like Christmas music. Though if people are going to listen to it, do it after Thanksgiving. Also, if I had to pick a Christmas song it'd probably be like Christmas Jazz or something.

I don't usually listen to Christmas music in general, not even when it's near Christmas itself. I think you should start after Thanksgiving. I do not have a favorite Christmas song.

I start listening to Christmas music after Thanksgiving and I think it should be that way I've personally never listened to Christmas music before Thanksgiving. My favorite song would have to be Jinggle Bell Rock.

I usually don't start listening to Christmas music until the start of December just because I'm not so obsessed with it that I listen to it outside of Christmas. I don't think it matters when you start listening to Christmas music.

I usually start listening to Christmas music around Thanksgiving, but this year I just haven't been feeling it, it doesn't feel like Christmas. Honesty I think the best time to start listening to it is before Thanksgiving because to me thanksgiving is Christmas. My favorite Christmas songs are by Michel Buble.

I like to listen to Christmas music whenever I feel like it usually but it is around Thanksgiving. I don't think it matters when you decide to listen to it just don't do it way way before Christmas or even Thanksgiving. I don't have a really have a favorite song because I like a lot of them but if it really was up to one it would be God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Pentatonix.

I start listning to christmas way before thanksgiving but i see why people don't because they think that every holiday should have a set time to celebrate it but thanksguiving doesn't have many songs to listen to so you resort to christmas music

In my opinion I think Christmas music should be played after Thanksgiving. Although I dont really listen to Christmas music, I like more gangsta rap. Everyone has their own opinions but I dont find Christmas music very pleasing. Also Thanksgiving should have its own time, as it is its own holiday.

I listen to christmas music in December because I think that is when christmas really starts. After thankgiving is ok though. My favorite song is jingle bell rock.
