Many children seem to adapt to challenges they face in school and outside of school. Job opportunities, better logic, and communication are three things that could be benefited in an individual's life when knowing more than one language. I think it would be valuable to know multiple languages; especially at a young age.
First, the process of learning two languages at a young age comes easier to toddlers. If a second language is instituted before the age of three, then a child will have the same process and outcome of a child just learning one language. Next, learning a new language at a young age allows children to do better in other subjects in school. By having more than one selection of language choice, a child is exercising multiple parts of their brain. This practice allows a better understanding of a variety of topics. It also allows creativity when solving problems. Lastly, an individual would have the ability to talk to more people. When traveling to foreign countries or speaking to a person during a job, a second language becomes very handy.
Although there are many advantages to learning a new language at a young age, there are also a few downsides. A child could end up disliking the language if they are forced to learn it. This could stop them from wanting to learn or even speak it. Another downside is that teaching another language will have the best outcome when a child learns both languages at the same time. That would mean they would need to learn it before the age of 3 which is before they can go to school.
Overall, I think that it is more beneficial for children/toddlers to learn a second language. If I already knew how to speak Spanish, then it would have taken a weight off of my shoulders today. Knowing another language would have helped me in many aspects of my own life.
Do you think children should learn 2 languages?
Do you think knowing two languages would benefit a child?

I think it seems crazy to teach a child a second language at a young age, but like Lineth said, she doesn't even remeber it being difficult. By the time a child has grown up, they don't even realize the work they had to go through. It becomes something they had to adapt to, and it probably doesn't even seem that difficult anymore.
I think that teaching young kids a second language is a good idea so then they can use it later in life. Then when those kids take that language class in high school they will have a little backround about it. I think that learning a new lanuage at a young age will benefit those kids a lot. So then they have a better understanding of the whole lanuage. Also if those kids ever have to interact with people that speak a different lanuage they would be able to kind of understand what they are saying.
In my opinion, the best time to learn something is when you're a kid...expecially a toddler because like you've probably heard before, a child's brain is like a sponge. They just absorb anything you teach them. Many children, like myself learned their second language when they were very little. As a child I don't recall it being difficult at all. In fact it helped me. Now, at 15 years of age, I can understand and speak 2 languages.
I definitely agree that a child can absorb so much more information. A child doesn't have as much information in their brain, so they will take in all they can get. I think it's very cool that you know two languages. It is also cool to hear you say that you don't even remember it being difficult.
No i dont think they should learn 2 languages becuase they are to young. 2 languages would not benift a child becuase they wouldnt use it for anything
I do think that learning a secong language could be beneficial for kids. They shouldnt have to be fluents by the time they are going to school but it could definitely be a work in progress for them. A second language could be beneficial because they would better understand other people in their area.
I agree that a child wouldn't have to know the language perfectly by the time they are in school. I do think that even just the basics of a second language would be smart to know. I think a second language has many benefits and can be helpful throughout an individuals life.
I think children should learn two languages. The population is sky rocking which means it would be beneficial to know another language, so you can communicate with more people around the world. Another reason is you won't have to take the foreign language class in highschool since you would speak well.
I definitely agree that it would be super beneficial to know a second language for highschool. Then you might only need to take one class to make sure you are speaking it correctly. Even just knowing some basics of a second language would be a benefit for an individuals future.
I do think children should be taught a second language. It would give them a big boost compared to people who learn in high school. I also believe schools should replace cursive with a second language. Cursive is pointless, and learning a second language would be beneficial.
