Should the US get involved with Syria?

Overheard on CNN.com: Readers ponder dangers, benefits of getting involved in Syria

There has been talk about maybe having the US get involved with the protests in Syria. The protest in Syria are about to turn into a civil war just like we had. The Syria people want their leader to come down from power and to change the government and make things more fair in their country. The death toll has reach about 8,000 people in Syria.

I dont think that we should get involved; we obviously have ENOUGH of our own problems.

    It is not the United States job to help everyone in the world. I think that if we were not in so much debt we could help them. War and just being invloved with other countries is expencive. I think that if we want to be involved in a war we declare war and not just go help countries.

    I think we should try to help as much as we can and put pressure on their government for assad to step down
