  • i think that people who haunt should not have there guns taken away. but people should not be able to carry guns around for fun

  • Adding more gun control laws won't help anything. Even if they take the guns away from everybody that won't help either saying if someone wants to kill someone they will find a way to do it. Because i remember the big killing in a school with gas. So that just shows guns are not the issue at all and it is the person that is going crazy.

  • I do not think that the United States should have stricter gun control, because if you're house is getting broken in to by somebody that is armed and it is illegal to shoot him that would be bad. Also, if someone is going to shoot up a theater or school you could save 10-30 lives with even 1 shot.

  • I do believe that the people of the United States do deserve the right to have firearms in their possession. They can be used for hunting and self defense, and recreational use such as sport shooting. Yet at the same time, I feel that we do need to do something about the mass murders that people have committed with them. Most mass murders take place in either schools, work buildings, and other public buildings. We have the technology that we could use to disable the weapons if they are inside a one mile radius of these places. The hardest part would be implementing is upon older weapons.

  • I don't think its the guns that are the problem its the people

  • I feel like although the 2nd amendment protects to right to bear arms applies to when you are in danger. I respect people who want to hunt for sport and hence own a gun for that. However, I do not see the purpose in owning semi-automatic weapons, that may possibly my ignorance in the area of hunting for sport. I think that to own a gun you need a background check, such as some common jobs applied for. The fact that getting your hands on a gun is quite easy you could say is frightening. I know they say "guns don't kill people, people kill people". I must say it is harder to kill someone without a gun. People say if you put laws on guns, criminals won't listen to those laws. Well frankly, since criminals don't listen to laws anyway, why do we even have them? I think the only people who should be concerned with gun controls, is not hunters, but those who have guns that don't have them for the right purpose. I also feel like all these shootings are a warning to America. That this day in age, we need to be more concerned with mental health. It is an issue, and we need to be aware.

  • I think that there are just too many psychotic people getting their hands on guns and killing and hurting many innocent people.  I think that schools need to start getting higher security and the guns' salesmen need to have background checks and other ways to check if the people are buying the guns would be safe with them.

  • I don't think the guns are the problem... I think it is the people shooting the guns. People are abusing the power that guns give them. I think there needs to be a change... Just not sure how?
