The Super Bowl is the biggest stage in all of football. The first Super Bowl was in 1967 played by the Green Bay Packer and Kansas City Chiefs. It was held in the Los Angeles colleseum in California.
Over the first 54 super bowl there has been 18 different teams win and 30 of those 54 have been won by only 6 different teams. The winner of the first Super Bowl was the Green Bay Packers from the NFC (National Football Conference), and the team who lost was the Kansas City Chiefs from the AFC (American Football Conference). The Super Bowl has also now become one of the most watched televised games, and 10's of thousand of people buy tickets to go watch it live in person. It has become so popular the NFL has raised prices of tickets making the average price per ticket around $6,000.
The last two years the Super Bowl has been held by a team competeing in it which is crazy for it to happen not only one time but twice in a row. The winner of the Super Bowl the last two years has been the team with home field advantage. Which is making people start to think that it shouldn't be allowed for a team to have that advantage in the Super Bowl so it is fair.
Do you think it should be allowed for a team to have home field advantage?

Good topic choice Brock! This is a week late and also be sure to reply to student comments.
I do not think there should be a home field advantage in the superbowl. In my opnion the super bowl is one of the biggest games in sports history. Cause of that it should be played in a different location then a home teams field, so there is no advantge.
I do think it is ok for the Super Bowl to be held in the "home stadium." For example, this yers super bowl was held in LA. The LA Rams were one of the teams competing in the game; however, the Rams were not the home team. The home team alternates every year. Last year it was the NFC and this year it was the AFC team that was competing in the Super Bowl.
Personally, I do not think that they should be held on their home field. I think that this comes with several advantages that seem unfair. Although it is morally correct to move the location, it is not very logical. It is hard to quickly move the location of something so large.
I personally do not believe that a team should be allowed to play in the Super Bowl while in their home stadium. I think it gives them an unfair advantadge. Whether that be that they are used to playing there (feild/climate etc.) or the larger number of fans.
I don't think that a team should be allowed to play in the Super Bowl in their own home stadium. In my opinion, big games like the Super Bowl should be a neutral site game to eliminate any advantage that one team has over another.
I think that the possibility of a team having a home field advantage in the Super Bowl makes them try even harder to get there. In 2018 the Super Bowl was at the Minnesota Vikings stadium. The Vikings went all the way until the last game before the Super Bowl before they fell short of the first home field advantage at the Super Bowl. This is another example of teams working harder to get there, Personally, I think it would be to difficult to change a Super Bowl to a different stadium and get it ready in 2 weeks, so I think we will have to keep it the way it is.
I dont think anyone should have the home field advantage, it is unecessary and there should be a seperate dield for this game to be held. Teams should have to play at different fields so there isnt any familliarity that happens when playing at a home field.
I don't think one of the teams in the super bowl should have the home field advantage. I don't think it should be that difficult to have the super bowl at a different stadium. I think that the super bowl game should be 100 % fair because it is the biggest football game of the season.
I think having home field advantage at that level is unnecessary, and there should be a separate field for these games to be held at so there is no disadvantages. Teams should have to compete at a completely different field so there is no comfort or familiarity that comes with playing at a home field.
