The legal age right now in the US to buy and drink alcohal is 21. A lot of people think that it should stay like that, but then a lot of people also think that once the turn 18 and is an adult they should be free to buy alcohol. If the legal age to buy and drink alcohal is 21 why do you become an adult at 18. At 18 you can buy a house, car, and many other things but alcohol.
Lowering the age of the alcohal age limit would make people feel like they have more freedom and not still a kid. People say that they have the legal limit at a good age bc the brain is not developed but the brain stopes developing at the age of 25, so ether way the bain is not developed all the way and it can still mess up ur brain is not fully diveloped. But also, about 61% of coutys has the legal age at 18, 6% of coutys has the legal age of 21.
Finally if the age limit went down collige students would know there tolerance sooner so then they would do better on there studdys and they might be less deaths from alcohol poisining. They would also be less likely to be on time for there classes and do better on there studys becasue they would not get so drunk.

Good topic choice! Your summary is definitley focused on your thoguhts, it is a bit brief overall. You could have gone into the history of the legal drinking age in the US and compare it to the rest of the world. You could also go into the postives and negatives a bit more.
The bigger issue is that you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
Personally I don't think the legal age to buy and drink alcohol should be lowered because I don't think most people would be responsible about it. I disagree that college students would do better on their studies if they could drink sooner. I think that if anything it would cause a lot more problems if you could get easy access to alcohol while in college.
I do not think that the legal age of drinking and buying alcohol should be lowered because it can affect how a person thinks and makes decisions. I think that if it was lowered their would be way more car accidents due to alcohol related accidents. I think that 21 is a good age for it.
yes, because most minors want to go to parties to have a drink or to try it out in general. I actually think the German system is pretty good. From 16 you can buy beer, wine ... At 18 you can buy anything. I've allready tried it, but it taste mostly not really good.
I do agree that the age should be lowered. Most people in collage drink now and they aren't 21 so they should be able to just buy it without asked someone that is 21 to buy it for them. It used to be 18 just like with nicotine so I think it sould be lowered.
I think if you can go to the military at age 18 you should be able to drink. Those two should be the same because if you can risk your life for the country you can have a couple drinks. Second if you can buy a a gun at 18 You should be able to drink too.
Personally I believe that the legal age of buying alchohol and tobacco substances should be lowered to 18. At 18 you can legally own a fire arm and go to war to protect the country but cannot purchase alchol and tobacco, this is also the age where you're are identified as an adult and i believe you should be able to make those decisions as an adult.
I believe the age of buying and drinking alcohol shouldn't be lowered because there is two many people that drink anyways without being able to buy the drinks. If the drinking age was lowered too many athletes would be drunk or you could have people coming into work while they are drunk.
I think the age is fine currently because some people are still in highschool at 18 and I think that could jepordize sports and we would see acedemics decrease. Also you are more mature at that age and in general you are more of an adult the older you get.
Many people believe that the drinking age should be lowered, I think that 21 is a good age to be able to purchase and drink alcohol because at this age you're more mature. Also at this age you have more responisibilties and you know what's right and wrong, you're also able to make good choices for yourself and you can handle yourself more when under the drinking process.
