Over 30% of high school students work for at least part of their high school carrer. Most teens in high school are looking for a way to make money, especially when they turn 14, so they can buy a car. However, some teens can see how quickly their hard-earned money evaporates. Teens often have a passion to spend money on unnecessary things, such as video games, snacks and so on. However, they quickly realize that they’re spending more money than they make. Some teens may think it’s not a good idea to work because it takes up too much of their time, especially when they’re supposed to be studying for that important science test that’s coming up. While it’s hard to measure the relationship between working and grades, researchers have found that students who work up to 20 hours a week tend to have lower academic performance. Jobs also have an impact on teens’ social life and school life, which can be good or bad.
Some of them will live to see that it's not so good for teenagers, because it takes a lot of time, while they're supposed to be studying for the big science test that's coming up. The best way for young people who do their job is moderate and steady work. Personally, working as a teenager is kind of good because I get to meet all sorts of new people every time I work there and also see other people that I've met before. Also I like how i get to get tips, like it's always nice to have pocket money, right?

I think students should have jobs during school because it gives them more responsibility. I work at subway and I do think its important for them to learn the work ethic for working. I think carrying money is good.
In my opinion i think its a good idea for highschool students to have a job, because so that way we can start experince how things really are when we get older and too start getting used to a routine like that, it would also make us more responsable,
I think that kids should have a job when they are in High School because it is good for them to see how things will be when they get older and have to work everyday. It would also be a good way for them to start paying for college.
I personally belive having a job as a teen is defintley a very good thing and all teens should have them. I work at the wellness center and it defintley teaches you disipline and not everything is just handed to you. I carry money on me everywhere and everyone should.
Personally i do not have a job but i think that it could be a very benefical option for kids in highschool to make some money and learn skills before leaving highschool. Jobs could also help them decide what they want to do in their future career.

I think it's definitely not a mistake to work as a teenager. You already gain so much experience as a teenager when it comes to working. You learn how to deal with money as a teenager. If you don't start working until after 18, it may be too late to know certain things about the world of work. You learn how to handle money and you can make a lot more possible. And everyone likes that, I can only confirm that, because I had a job myself. It just feels good to know that what you're buying has been paid for with your own money.
