Teachers without this country are being threatened by students and also people outside of the school. Schools these days don't have enough security to know what things kids bring into school. This shouldn't be happening that kids are bringing knifes and guns into the school. Teachers shouldn't have to risk their life in order to teach.
I also think that kids shouldn't have to worry about what deffence weapon they are going to use if somethign were to happen during the school day. Teachers should be able to have a firearm just so that students could feel more safe. Some schools are in bad areas with a lot of crime to where schools could be shot up for hate.
I don't think that schools nor school teachers should have this problem of worrying about what would happen if this tragic incodent were to occur. If a student were to have a weapon on them during school then no techer or other student wouldn't have anything to defend themselves. This is why I think that teachers should be able to have a firearm but yet carry it safley. I also think that this would slow down school shootings because people would know that the teachers have these firearms.

Good topic choice and well done overall Kody! With a topic like this, I think you could include more data in your summary to show your position a bit more. You could have also replied more.
I think teachers that have been teaching for a while or have had a background test can carry a gun. This would help for school shootings, but they need to be careful about who they give the guns to. It could somehow get in a student's hands. A teacher could also apply and just want the job so they can shoot up the school. This is why if they were hiring and letting teachers carry guns, they would need to do deep investigating before hiring.
I think teachers should have firearms ecspecially because there were several shooting in the last 5 years which creates a lot of worry for schools. Schools should have better security it would help prevent a lot more shootings and others things. It would really help the saftey of not just the students but help the teachers feel a lot more safe and knowing that is a big thing.
I think teachers who have been seriously trained should be allowed to have guns. I would feel safer knowing that the problem could be solved if needed to be. I think the gun would have to be greatly secured in a classroom so that students couldn't get to it, but still accessible to the teacher.
I think that teachers should be allowed to have a weapon, but only after an extensive background test. I also think that potential candidates for the firearms should be interviewed and should be closely looked at to see if they have any history of unnecessary violence or if they are responsible enough to be trusted with it. I don't think that just anyone should be allowed to carry a weapon in class. But I think that it is absolutely neccessary for responsible teachers to be able to protect their students.
I think it is a good idea to let teachers have a weapon in the school, just in case if something bad happens. In this day and age where people are insane and doing crazy things. I think it would make both teachers and students safer. The only problem that I see is that a student could find that weapon and harm someone with it. I think teachers need to have to know how to use a gun before they can have one. I also don't think that every classroom should have a gun. Only in curtain places can guns be placed.
I am on the edge about whether or not teachers should have guns. I think it would be okay if they had proper training, mental health background checks, as well as the desire to actually have the gun in their classroom. I do think schools should have better security, but this may not be the best way to go about this issue.
I think that teachers should be able to have a gun. I thnk this would help teachers not only to protect their students but to also protect themselves from any harmful things. The thing with this teachers being able to have guns is that it would be nice to know that teachers had some ecperience, so if they ever had to use it they would know how to safely.
