Its hard to decide if it should be shorter or longer. I would go with Shorter. Only for the reasoning that you wont be in school longer than you have to be, not behind on school work, and still have the weekend and one day off. Studies show that when children get too many days off of school for a holiday that their brains aren't functioning the right way they should be for school. It puts students in a tough spot for getting caught up.
After break all kids wanna do is talk about what they did over break, and not focus on school work. I think breaks from school are much needed. Kids need some time away from school. Easter break and Spring break are just so close to the end of the year. There is not enough time to be missing more than 4 days of school. That gives us 4 days that we will be behind on the teachers teaching schedule. Studies show that most teachers around the world don't see the point of missing any school when Easter is on a Sunday. I think that it is fine as is because if we go any longer we will have to be in school in June, and I don't want my summer shortened. I think a 4 day weekend is good enough. We get an entire Friday and we get to skip a Monday of school. The week before easter brake is only a 4 day school week too.
I think that the time we have off is perfect because we will ba able to get out of school a lot earlier because other schools in different states have longer breaks and they get out of school a lot later. But i also think we need more time away from school and have some time for ourselves.
I think the break is fine as it is because we get two days off which isn't too short or too long. I understand the frustration because Easter is on a Sonday, but it is an all-day event and we will probably be hanging out with family late at night. I think we should at least get Monday off.
I think spring break should be longer. Students are always very overwhelmed at this time and there has not been a break for a while. I think we should take a week off. That would mean we would get out of school a few days later, but that would be fine.
I'm okay with spring break being short. I think that this break isn't really a big deal, and nobody really does anything other than on Easter day. If we had a longer spring break like some other schools, our out-of-school date would just go further out and I'd rather have a longer summer.
I personally am okay with spring break being as short as it is. As much as I would love to have more days off of school. The school would just get out later. I would rather get the days over and get out for summer early.
In my opinion we should make it longer because Harlan doesn't necessarily have a spring break and there is no really too much holidays in 2nd semester.
I think that spring break should definitely be longer. I think it's a good break for the students and teachers and they are able to regroup themselves over the weekend and then come back for a fresh start after the break. I feel like we really don't get as much of a spring break as other schools because most schools get around like a week off for spring break so I feel we should get the same.
I think that Easter Break should definitely be longer. I feel this way because we don't really get a spring break and most schools get a week-long off of school for their spring break. And I wouldn't even consider it spring break because easter is in it.
