Studies have shown that shortening the school days will make more movement time for the students. Brain breaks, and other activities have been proven to boost the children's knowledge along with benefits. Kids will worry less when their school days have been shortened. Along with more time for missing assignments, homework, projects, and more time for free time. No student wants to sit in a classroom for seven hours a day. It gets to be too much. When trying to focus in class it gets hard. You have been in class for over 7 hours a day, 5 days a week.
You have all these things you're thinking about just waiting for the weekend to come. With all the homework over the weekend and during weekdays, it feels like that's all there is time to get done. I believe that schools should shorten the days because it gives the kid a chance to be a kid, have fun, and not have to worry so much about school work. Not only does it benifit the students, the teachers as well. Grades would be put in sooner, they would be on track of assignements, and would have a great impact on them. As too doing more things with their families, getting home from work early, and not having to stay up late getting papers graded.

I do think school days should be shortened because it would positively impact students. I feel like I wouldn't worry about squeezing in homework after activities while still going to bed at a good time. I feel like being in class for 7 hours a day is just too much. Many of us feel drained at the end of the day.
I think that the school day should not be shorter because its already only 7 hours and kids dont have that much going on outside of school unless they have a job. I definetly think that it is fine the way it is and should not be shorted or be longer because it is at a good lenght.
I do think school days should be shortened. Shortening days I think is a good way to give us students a break from learning nonstop for eight hours. We would be able to get homework done better because we wouldn't be overwhelmed.
I think that our school hours should not be shortened. I think that schools should focus more on real world things. Some things that I have learned in school have not benifited me at all. The 7 hour classes to me would just hurt the school and would maybe push the school year into the summer.
I don't think that school needs to be shortened. I think school would be a lot more enjoyable, however, if students were taught with less homework and more interactive assignments. Just giving students papers and expecting them to enjoy and understand their classes is absurd.
I dont think that the school days should be shortened because if it was that means there would be more information they are cramming into are brains for a shorter amount of time and i personally think i woudnt be able to remember all the stuff they teach
I think that school days could be shortened a little bit. Sitting in a desk all day makes kids antsy by the end of the day. A shorter day would make kids pay attention more and be more focused during class periods. Having shorter days would mean more time for students to have a life outside of school.
I think school days could be shortened a little bit. School days were shortened by 30 minutes this year, which is really nice. I feel like shortening school days would give students more time to do homework. It would also help with stress by not overrunning students with work.
I think that sitting in class for all our days is just terrible and a complete waste of time. You could be out there working and doing important things but instead we have to sit in classes and listen to teachers drone on for hours at end which just never seems to end.
I personally don't really care if the school day is shortened or not because I don't have homework outside of school all that much but if they were shortened it would be pretty nice. I think that since I have been sitting in class for 7 hours already if it stayed it wouldn't bother me.
